Ever since I can remember, space has fascinated me. So, it’s no surprise Mission: SPACE catches my eye during visits to Epcot. To create the attraction, our Imagineers worked with more than 25 space experts, including five astronauts. It’s as close as you can get to blasting off into space without leaving Earth – and it is this week’s “Disney Parks After Dark” feature.
Do you have a favorite spot or attraction at Epcot to visit with the sun sets? Let us know and we may feature it here on the Disney Parks Blog.

Every single time we go on there, I feel BRAVE, the kids talk me into ‘Orange Mission’ and away we go!
They look at me turn red, white and green in the short space of 5 minutes and it makes their day!
We’ll be there in two weeks! With the sun setting so early in December, I look forward the beauty that is WDW at night! (Though, not the shorter operating hours that go along with it… I’d stay all night if they’d let me!)
Its like a whole ‘nother park once the sun goes down!
Such a good photo! Mission Space is easily one of my favorite attractions. Nothing beats the feeling of launching yourself into space!
My favorite spot after dark in Epcot is the fiber optic sidewalks! They are so cool, I could watch them go for hours.
My daughter and I love Mission Space! We rode it the year it opened, and will only ride the (now) Orange Mission. This ride is truely like no other ride I have ever been on.
