Cars Land Gets Gussied Up for the Holidays at Disney California Adventure Park

Radiator Springs is a small town with a big heart, so it’s no surprise that each of its residents goes all-out for the holidays. As we showed you in our recent video, Sally, Mater, Luigi and even Sarge have decked every hall in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure park. I’ve got a few more peeks to share with you today, but you’ve really got to see it for yourself to believe it.

The first thing you will see upon arriving at Cars Land is the festive welcome sign and adorable Snow Car. This little guy has become an attraction all his own – be sure to stop by and take your photo with him!

In front of the Cozy Cone Motel, Sally has built a tree made of (what else?) cones – illuminated with the help of an oversized car battery.

My favorite Cars Land tree can be found in front of Radiator “Winter” Curios. It’s Lizzie’s tree, covered in Route 66 signs.

Even the town’s founder, Stanley, has gotten into the holiday spirit, with a bag full of presents and a hubcap-covered tree.

And of course, a holiday visit to Cars Land is not complete without saying hello to Santa Mater! From spark plugs to radiator caps, this jolly tow truck brings holiday wishes to all the good cars and vans throughout the town!

  • We visited Cars Land after thanksgiving and it was awesome!!!!! Any chance that it might make its way to Disney world? Perhaps Hollywood Studios?

  • We were there during Thanksgiving weekend. We enjoyed being at Cars Land in the evening when the Christmas lights are on and it’s chilly. It was a treat to see Santa Mater drive by while dining at Flo’s Cafe. We’re planning another visit this month, and it feels like it’ll be our first time seeing the decorations. Glad to be an AP.

  • Cars Land looks so amazing! I need to visit DCA and DLR next holiday season..

  • Cars Land looks fantastic all decked out. I’ve seen the decorations in person and they are awesome.

Although I was wondering why Ramone doesn’t have any Christmas tree inside at his House of Body Art. Oh well. 🙂
