Wow, in the last 48 hours, we’ve shared some exciting announcements, including a flying Disney Dragon, ribbon cutting for Test Track and the grand opening of New Fantasyland. Today, there’s more to share. We just held a media preview for the world’s largest Splitsville right here in Downtown Disney. Minutes ago, Splitsville founders Guy Revelle and Mark Gibson confirmed that the lanes are scheduled to officially open on December 19.
And if you’re as excited as I am about the opening of Splitsville, we’re planning something special for you: we will be offering the opportunity to be one of the first people on the lanes during a Disney Parks Blog Meet-Up. Follow @WaltDisneyWorld and @DisneyParks on Twitter or keep checking the Blog in upcoming days for first word on when you can RSVP for the Downtown Disney event.
When Splitsville opens, it’ll initially offer walk-ups only. To reserve a bowling or dining spot, you’ll need to visit a Splitsville greeter who will assist you. A phone reservation number will be available at a later date.
Also, on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, the second floor will be reserved for guests ages 21+ who arrive after 10:30 p.m. For more information, visit DisneyWorld.com/Splitsville. You can follow the conversation now on Twitter by using the hashtag #WDWSplitsville.

Will Splitsville be accepting the Disney Dining Plan?
LOVED playing at Splitsville at the Media Preview! The Food was all fantastic as well! I can not wait for the Disney Parks Blog meet up and then to take my parents when they visit next September! They were on a Bowling league when I was a kid and the feel inside Splitsville is what I remember as a child. Bright and vibrant, a little throwback and always fun!
Can I book two lanes for the last week in June? We are so going bowling on our next family trip!
We are such RIDE FANATICS while staying at a Disney Resort that we don’t usually spend any of our time on all the “extras”. Every waking moment is devoted to attractions within the parks. But Splitsville has captured our attention and we plan to include it on our next Disney Vacation. Imagine a round of Sushi in between sets?!?! Can’t wait!
According to the site “Beginning at 10:30 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, the 2nd floor is reserved for Guests ages 21 and older.”
Nothing about dress though.
Hi Tiffany, no dress code. Have fun.
We would like to bring the family up on Christmas day as a present. I see wheelchair accessibility, but since you are not making reservations yet, will all lanes be accessible?
Yes, all 30 lanes will be wheelchair accessible.
Any special merchandise for Splitsville?
Yes indeed. Available merchandise includes apparel for men, women and children, customized bowling balls and bags, water bottles, koozies, key chains, etc.
What a fabulous time to be a WDW local!
Yes, agreed. Thanks, Lucinda.
This is great news, thank you! When Splitsville is open only to 21+ after 10:30pm, will the business-casual dresscode from other Splitsville locations be enforced? Or will themepark-appropriate attire (shorts, tshirts) still be acceptable?
Also, you referred to Dec 19 several times as the “official opening” date. Does that imply there might be some soft-openings, much as New Fantasyland and Test Track recently experienced?
I cannot wait to get into Splitsville, it looks so awesome from the outside – What will the Hours be ?
Hi Diane, the hours are 10 a.m. until 2 a.m.
