Holidays at the Disneyland Resort are well underway, and as Shawn shared last month, there’s plenty of down-home delights to be found at the Jingle Jangle Jamboree in Frontierland at Disneyland park. Visit with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, tell Santa what you want for Christmas, decorate some delicious holiday cookies and more! Check it out:

  • Erin,

Just returned Monday from or annual Christmas Trip to the Park and had a GREAT time!! Caught up with Billy Hill and the Hillbillies at the Jamboree and loved every minute of it! Kirk Wall and the boys are tremendous entertainers and a personal favorite of our family. They did an outstanding job weaving Christmas, Characters, and Blue Grass music into a seamless show and managed to pack the house as usual. What a TREAT to see our “old friends” the Country Bears!! Though I’m sixty-three I hollered like a 10 year old when I saw them!!

Hope the Billies are not gone long from the Golden Horseshoe which I feel is their proper venue!!

Lastly, after all the hub-bub about tickets, we managed to get stand-by seats for Candle-light! Edward James Olmos did a spectacular job and it was the high-light of our trip!

  • Our family really enjoyed this experience on our visit a couple of weeks ago. It has a nice open atmosphere so it doesn’t seem as crowded as the area it used to be in. I am so glad they moved Santa from the cabin and made him part of the festivities area. It really ties everything together.

  • Just went to DLR and went to the Jingle Jangle Jamboree and it was wonderful. the kids get to color a raindeer and a greeting card. there are decorating cookies and candy cane cotton candy. Loved the raindeer games and santa. Its a must see!!!
