  • There were plans to have more units (including another Beach Villa) at the north end of the property, where the fire pit is now. Also, there were to be many more villas across the street. That is why there is a large pedestrian / golf cart tunnel below the front road. The dining rooms were sized to accommodate many more guests.

  • I’ll be heading there this weekend. SOOOO looking forward to it!

  • Our family has stayed at this resort many times and we always have a great time. I love sitting on the rocking chairs at night listening to the waves on the beach. The rendering is fascinating. It would have been great to see the full resort built with the lake at its center. The property across the street still is undeveloped. Does Disney still owns it?

  • We love Vero Beach! In that rendering it looks like there were ambitious plans for the area around the lake. What was originally proposed for that area?
