Last-Minute Gift Ideas for Valentine’s Day from Disney Parks

In honor of Valentine’s Day on Thursday, Disney Parks is celebrating True Love Week as part of its “Limited Time Magic” surprises. For some of you, there is a limited amount of time left to find that special someone a memorable gift. While I still believe that personalization adds extra magic to any gift, here are a few additional ideas from Disney Parks.

Disney Parks offer a great selection of jewelry with hints of Mickey or Minnie Mouse (see my recent article about necklaces by Petra Azar for an example). I think my two favorite necklaces have owls wearing a Disney ear hat or Minnie’s iconic bow.

If you want some breathtaking options, take a look at the Disney Dream Collection on the Disney Parks online store. This fine jewelry assortment contains gorgeous diamond rings for women and men, 14-Karat gold necklaces, and earrings featuring Mickey Mouse or Tinker Bell.

If you want to add a special accent to a Valentine’s Day gift, check out the two limited edition Valentine’s Day pins or the three-inch Vinylmation figure designed by Maria Clapsis.

Finally, the softlines team shared with me four striped shirts with Mickey and Minnie Mouse that would be perfect for February 14.

For me, I dream of chocolate-covered strawberries from the Main Street Confectionery in Magic Kingdom Park or a Citrus Swirl from the Sunshine Tree Terrace in Adventureland (hint, hint).

Happy Valentine’s Day!

  • Is it too late to get the owl necklaces? If not, are they on Main Street at Disneyland or can I order it online?

  • Can you please tell me the approx price of the owl necklace? I want one but I dont want to call and then it be to expensive and not order:) thanks!

    • @Heather – The owl necklaces are currently $9.95 each. Please note that all retail prices are subject to change without notice.

  • Hi Steve! Where can we get the softlines at? Also are the pins all available at the Disney Parks? I’m heading out this weekend and wanted to know. Also are there any Passholder special items for V-Day?

    • @Carlos – The shirts are offered at a variety of locations at Walt Disney World. I was at World of Disney in Downtown Disney Marketplace yesterday and saw them.

For the Mickey and Minnie pin, I would check Pin Central at Epcot or the Sorcerer’s Hat Shop at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

For the Lady and Tramp pin, Pin Central at Epcot, the Sorcerer’s Hat Shop at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, or Frontierland Trading Post in Frontierland at Magic Kingdom.

I don’t know of any specific Passholder exclusive items for Valentine’s Day. I hope you have a great trip!

  • I really love those Heart Earrings with the bows…Do you have an Item#/Location for those? Happy Valentines Day!!

    • @Sandra and Stevie-lyn – The heart/bow earrings aren’t currently sold via the Disney Parks online store. You can order them via the Merchandise Guest Services team (see this for contact info – https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2013/01/answers-to-popular-questions-about-shopping-at-disney-parks/).

Reference these item numbers. There is also a matching necklace.

      Earrings – 400003497553
      Necklace – 400003497478

They are both carried in multiple locations throughout Walt Disney World. I’d try the bigger merchandise locations in each Theme Park or Downtown Disney Marketplace. I also saw they are sold in a variety of Resort locations.

  • Hey Steven,

Can I also buy those earrings at the online store? I love them, but I live in Germany, so it’s kind of tricky to buy Disney merchandise.

  • I love the LOVE ring but couldn’t find it on the website – is it available to order?

  • Will the unreleased 2012 hidden mickey completer pins be sold as mystery pins with purchase ? Release date? Thanks.

    • @Christopher – The Disney pin team told me this morning that the Walt Disney World purchase with purchase set will be released on February 15. The Disneyland set will be released on February 22.

  • My 16 month old and I had a mommy daughter date day at Magic Kingdom today for the True Love celebration. We had our FIRST citrus swirl ever believe it or not, and it was wonderful!! Not sure how I’ve missed it all this time. Maybe its because I usually get distracted by pineapple dole whip around the corner…

    • @Dena – That’s wonderful!! Thank you for sharing. I can’t get enough of Dole Whips and Citrus Swirls.

  • Those owl necklaces are too cute. Steven, could you tell us any more about the Limited Edition merchandise (pins, plushes, vinylmation, etc.) that will be offered this week as part of “True Love Week” for Limited Time Magic as was briefly mentioned in the article about the celebration last week on the Blog? Thanks.

    • @Lauren – The article above shows the two limited edition pins which each have an edition size of 2,000. The Vinylmation figure is also shown as I available for purchase via the Disney Parks online store – http://www.disneystore.com/vinylmation-vinylmation-2013-valentine-figure-3/mp/1325898/1000828/

There are some Valentine’s Day plush this year including a Lady and Tramp set (item number 400006790811) and Minnie Mouse (item number 400006790804).

  • Oh my gosh! I bought that “love” ring on my trip to Disneyland in 2010, and I still wear it every day! I LOVE IT! I can’t wait to wear it to WDW this April and maybe find a new piece of jewelry to go along with it!

  • Where can you find the owl necklaces? We’ll be in WDW this week, and I would like to get one for my daughter.

    • @Katie – We have discussed such an idea but have opted not to move forward with it. The assortment changes frequently which could cause incorrect information to exist. So I continue to write articles for the Disney Parks Blog featuring softlines which is a little more real time.

@Elizabeth – The item number is 400006339577. If placing an order via mail order, you will just have to specify if you want Mickey or Minnie.

The owls are carried at a variety of locations including Tren-D or World of Disney in Downtown Disney Marketplace. You can also find them at the major merchandise locations in each of the Theme Parks. I found them on Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom.

  • I wish I could get a softlines catalog of EVERYTHING offered in WDW sent to my house!
