It’s time to share what new “Limited Time Magic” surprises are coming your way. And next week, it’s a special celebration of Earth Week at Disney Parks.
Wildlife Wednesdays: Party for the Planet to Celebrate 15th Anniversary of Disney's Animal Kingdom and Earth Day on April 22

Beginning Monday, we’re kicking off our Earth Week celebration at Disney’s Animal Kingdom with a special edition of “Party for the Planet” in honor of the park’s 15th anniversary. Jackie Ogden has a complete Earth Day rundown and a list of tips if you’re joining us on April 22.

Then, all week long, you can enjoy a Disney character reunion as Lilo & Stitch, Flik & Atta, Koda & Kenai, and Thumper & Miss Bunny return to Disney’s Animal Kingdom for cameo appearances in Mickey’s Jammin’ Jungle Parade. And each day, you can join these Disney friends when they reunite for a dance party hosted by DJ Dino-Mite in Dinoland, U.S.A.!

Also, as part of “Limited Time Magic” next week, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will have a new selection of commemorative items. Some of the items will have the specially designed 15th anniversary logo created by Disney Design Group artists Michael Posluszny and Maria Clapsis. Blog author Steven Miller will have more details and a photo gallery of the items later today here on the Disney Parks Blog.

And check back later to see Pam Brandon’s look at the tasty treats that’ll be available at Walt Disney World Resort as part of our “Limited Time Magic” celebration. There will be “Worm and Dirt” cupcakes and surprises available during the week.

  • The only thing I can find going on at DLR is a Worm Dirt Tart at the Trattoria. You can’t be serious. There MUST be something more going on this week. Please, tell me what the REAL limited time magic is at DLR this week.

  • What about DISNEYLAND? I read absolutely nothing about Disneyland in this update. What is going on in our park?

  • What a fun way to celebrate Earth Day! Any chance Lucky the Dinosaur will be making a “Limited Time Magic” appearance? I never got to see him in person, but I’ve heard he was spectacular!
