It was almost four years ago on our first visit to Disney World that my son (11 at the time) was able to pull the sword out of the stone. (This was not part of any show.) I was shocked, but did get a picture so he would have the proof. But neither he nor his younger sister has ever been able to repeat this success again, despite many tries. I guess he was just very lucky!
“is rightwise King of Fantasyland and shalt get to stayeth in Thine Own Dream Suite over-night-eth”….
That soundeth delightful-eth
is Rightwise King Born of all England
I think it says “is rightwise king, born of England”.
Maybe I should have a try next time I am at Disneyland Park, after all – I am from England!
You never know what might happen at Disneyland 😉
I have such fond memories of my son pulling out the sword when he was young. We still have the wonderful scroll and medal given to him from Merlin.
…is rightwise king, born of England.
By the way, what ever happened to Merlin’s ceremony where some lucky child got to pull out the sword?
“is rightwise ruler born of England”
Shall buy churros for everyone!
If that’s not what it says, I think it should!
