We had a lot to celebrate this week at Disney Parks – from the anniversary of one of our water parks and a new award, to catching some plain ol’fashioned great guest service on camera.

One of my favorite photos of the week (above) shows how custodial cast members are making magic for guests at Downtown Disney here at Walt Disney World Resort. Check out the gallery to see other key moments from this week.

  • Robert at Walt Disney World. He was our tour guide for the Keys to the Kingdom tour.
He was in the middle of talking about the Haunted Mansion ride, after we had finished riding it, and a child walking behind our group tripped and fell.
Robert immediately sprung into action, shutting off his headset and quickly going to the boy. Robert helped him up, made sure he was okay, made sure the adults with the child weren’t upset, and handed the boy a Mickey Mouse sticker. He then resumed his spiel about the ride.
He was an incredible tour guide and cast member.
