Our friends at Walt Disney Imagineering just shared a photo of a very special delivery they received here the Walt Disney World Resort earlier this week. We’re told it’s a key piece of an attraction that’s coming to New Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park.

Any idea as to what it might be? Submit your guesses in the “Comments” section below. Be sure to check back soon to see if your guess was correct!

If you responded with a “Seven Dwarfs Mine Train” answer, you are correct! The very first mine train car was delivered at Walt Disney World this week. The car, which can be seen above, will now be taken to a backstage area where it will receive a themed paint job.

  • A mine cart for mine ride?

  • Log car for the Seven Dwarfs mine ride?

  • Snow White Animatronic for the new Mine Coaster?

  • Mine car! 🙂

  • The first ride vehicle for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train!

  • It might well be the locomotive of the train for the upcoming Seven Dwarfs Mine Train!

  • Definitely the mine cart

  • I’m with the others. I think it’s one of the mine cars!
    Or maybe a dwarf?

  • My first thought was (as mentioned many times above) the mine ride vehicle… can’t wait to ride!

  • The zero car for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train attraction?

  • It’s the evil queen!

  • the evil queen or the dwarf’s cottage…

  • The Evil Queen or the Dwarf’s Cottage

  • Marguee’/signage for new SW mine car ride

  • Mirror

  • Definitely something for the 7 dwarfs ride and that’s SO AWESOME.

  • The entrance sign for Princess Fairytale Hall

  • A Seven Dwarfs Mine Cart. And a blue shirt for that one Imagineer who decided to wear green and not match.

  • What are these guys doing lol they should be fixin’ and gluing stuff so we can ride this sooner!
Don’t let them stand down for pics any more LOL

  • Cruella DeVille’s car for the new 101 Dalmations ride!

  • Definitely the mine car!

  • Bracelets for the ticket and fast pass system. The people who have their hands up all have a bracelet on.

  • I’m going with a mine car as well.

  • It has to be a a mine car.

  • Mine cart almost seems to obvious, so that being said I am going to go with the Sign for the new dwarf mine ride

  • I am with everyone else, mine cart or maybe the cute little dwarfs

  • It’s the Seven Dwarfs’ Cottage that was seen in the concept art.

  • Guessing a Mine car for new 7 dwarfs mine ride

  • Is it a picture of Phil Holmes?

  • A pork shank only kiosk??

  • Mrs Jumbo?

  • The Seven Dwarfs’ cottage/facade.

  • The last section of rail?

  • @David #30. Hahaha 🙂

  • An animatronic Dopey showing everyone how to buckle up before the mine train ride begins!

  • Everyone else said a mine car so I’ll have to guess something else. The mirror? Jewels? A poisoned apple? Dopey?

  • The last piece of track for the mine coaster!!

  • Gotta be a mining car from the new “Snow White” attraction… BECAUSE it’s the ONLY attraction in New Fantasyland that IS NOT complete. 🙂

  • Might be mine car with all the beautiful jewels. Can not wait to see 🙂

  • under that blue tarp is a brand new start of the art swinging mine cart for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, A first for Disney Parks and I can’t wait to see it in action.

  • It’s not a Mine Car. It’s the people that made the ride possible. without them it wouldn’t exist at all. Thank you Imagineers. 😀

  • When are you going to reveal the answer, Jennifer?

    • Right…NOW!

  • Woo hoo!!! Can’t wait to ride this when we head back to WDW in Dec ’15. We were there on grand opening day of the Fantasyland expansion this past December and it was awesome!

    • That’s great to hear. This looks like it’s going to be a fun one!

  • Definitely a Mine Car. Heigh Ho!

  • Wish it were going to be completed when we head back down in October. Oh well, I guess that we’ll just have to go back again! 8(:

  • Are there any updates on when it might open? Hopefully by April 2014 when we go.
