Stars Shine Bright at Disney California Adventure Park for World Premiere of Disney/Jerry Bruckheimer Films’ ‘The Lone Ranger’

Disney/Jerry Bruckheimer Films’ “The Lone Ranger,” set to hit theaters on July 3, rode into Disney California Adventure park last week for the world premiere event. Thousands of people came to the park to watch the stars from the film, including Johnny Depp, Armie Hammer and even equine star Silver, arrive for the big event.   • I WAS WRONG! It’s still playing here this weekend! Looks like a fourth time is in my near future! WOOP!

  • I know this film hasn’t done well financially, and today is the last day it is playing in theaters in my city. I saw it for the first time four days ago, and I saw it three times in four days. IT WAS THAT GOOD. I don’t see at all why people don’t like it. IN FACT, I HAVE NEVER SEEN A BETTER MOVIE. Both my parents (who grew up in the original Lone Ranger era) were also impressed. I would hope this was to become a series so that we could see the evolution of the characters. At any rate, please know that some of us out here thought this was an absolutely terrific movie that could not have been any better. Some movies make the money but are not that great!

  • We were lucky enough to see an advanced screening of Lone Ranger last week at Downtown Disney. The movie is amazing! Great fun, fast paced flick. It moves much like a Pirates movie, not because of Depp but the action is at the same level! Great story, great execution! Forgot I was in a theater while watching as the action and story just draws you in. Home-run hit!
