When I was a little a girl, I spent countless hours playing dress up while dreaming of becoming one of my favorite Disney Princesses. I may have grown up, but I never grew out of my love of playing dress up or having big dreams.
The other morning, I stopped by the World of Disney at Downtown Disney Marketplace to check out the latest interactive experience from Disney Theme Park Merchandise, the Magic Mirror. You may recall the Magic Mirror from Walt Disney’s animated classic, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” This Magic Mirror is a little different as it’s only used for doing good and making Princess dreams come true.
With the help of a little Disney magic, guests can virtually try on a collection of authentic Disney Princess gowns and accessories, and see themselves transforms into their favorite princess (or princesses) right before their eyes.
So how does the Magic Mirror work? You simply stand directly in front of the mirror and watch the magic unfold as the mirror comes to life. But I’m not going to give away all the secrets; you’ll have to see for yourself!

I’ve been reading about it. But it’s not telling the exact location. Where is it at Walt Disney World ?
we didn’t find out about this mirror until the nite before we left, I wish we had known , the kids would have loved it.
I love this mirror! You can try on all the outfits with out having to take the time to go in a dressing room! It’s just annoying when you are in the middle of the session and people walk in front of you. It shuts off and starts all over again. Other than that little glitch it is a lot of fun!
Individuals of all ages are able to experience this! The mirror also tailors the experience to your height and weight. It’s pretty cool!
I’m a grownup kid but could I experience this too?
You absolutely can! The Magic Mirror is designed for all Guests whether young, or young at heart! Enjoy!
Agree with Sean…my daughter loved this as well!
Looks fun. Are you able to print, purchase or add those photos to a PhotoPass?
Great question, Stephanie! At this time, the Princess photos at the end of the experience are not available for purchase and they cannot be added to PhotoPass.
Is this not the thing inside the Dream Home at Innoventions at Disneyland? Just this one you don’t need a Castmembers to get it started.
My daughter had a blast with this when we were there last month. It really is a fun addition.
