Disney Style Snapshots: Vive La France

Last week we celebrated Independence Day here in the U.S., where red, white and blue ensembles ruled the day. If you’re a Francophile, you probably know our friends on the other side of the pond will soon be celebrating an independence day of their own. Sunday, July 14, marks Bastille Day or La Fête Nationale as it’s officially dubbed in France, the birth of the modern French nation.

The way we see it, it’s just another excuse to visit Epcot‘s France Pavilion or even Disneyland Paris. If you can’t make the trek this week, consider a Bastille Day themed barbecue or party. In any event, this Breton stripe tee (derived from the shirts worn by sailors in the Brittany province of France) is perfectly suited for the occasion. The flirty image of Minnie is mirrored on the snap case wallet.

Minnie’s red bow makes a bold statement ring. A manicure is required when drawing this much attention to your hand, so we’ve chosen the latest color from the Beautifully Disney cosmetics collection. The sunny shade, Provincial Mademoiselle, also works for your pedicure. We finish the look with a pair of navy shorts from our closet. Voilà!

  • The Epcot French area is my favorite place in Epcot. I could watch Impressions de France repeatedly. And the food! I’ve eaten in every restaurant and stand there. It’s like a trip to that beautiful country without leaving the US. Truly an amazing place.
