The Amazing Colors of Independence Day at Disneyland Park Make the Lights on Main Street U.S.A., Pop

Happy Independence Day! Disneyland park has been wearing its red, white and blue all week as we celebrate our nation’s birth, so I wanted to share some of my favorite photos from around the park, courtesy of our Chief Photographer Paul Hiffmeyer. When he showed me the photo above, I couldn’t hold back a gasp – the amazing colors in the sky match Sleeping Beauty Castle so perfectly, and just make the lights along Main Street, U.S.A., pop.

'Disney's Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky' Fireworks at Disneyland Park

Finally, no Independence Day celebration is complete without fireworks! This is one of my favorite shots of “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” here at Disneyland park.

How are you celebrating this Fourth of July? Let us know in the comments!

  • Heading to the Disneyland Hotel today…Just for the one night..My 6 year old grandson’s favorite thing to do on the 4th of July is to watch the spectacular fireworks from our room or the Concierge area…Wonderful memories and worth every penny spent!!!

  • I’m heading to Huntington Beach to enjoy the fireworks show over the pier!

  • The first photo where the sky matches the castle is gorgeous! I celebrated the 4th at a soccer game with fireworks but my true celebration was welcoming our Army daughter home from Afghanistan on July 2nd!
