This week, Disney Parks Blog readers decided the name for the first Masai giraffe calf born at Disney’s Animal Kingdom – it’s “Mosi” (which means “first”).
Other name choices that received a large amount of votes were “Baraka” (which means “blessing”) and “Shingo” (which means “long neck”). Check out Jackie’s original story to see our first video of Mosi. Thank you to everyone who voted.
And a real-life family of Griswolds hopped into a custom-made Wagon Queen Family Truckster this week and drove from their home in Canton, Georgia, to Walt Disney World Resort on the 30th anniversary of the motion picture “Vacation.” The Disney Parks Blog met up with the Griswolds and learned more about their experience and how they created the Family Truckster.
