September 4 – 8: Disney inspired artist Greg McCullough will be on hand for an artist showcase at Art of Disney in Downtown Disney Marketplace from 1 – 5 p.m. and 6 – 10 p.m., each day. September 11 – 12: Marty Sklar will be on hand for a special appearance and signing of his new book, titled Dream It, Do It! Look for Marty to appear at The Writer’s Stop in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, September 11 from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m., and again on September 12 at the Art of Disney in the Downtown Disney Marketplace from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Learn more here.
September 13 – 15: Interested in picking up the new Sofia the First inspired doll from Precious Moments doll maker Linda Rick? Now’s your chance! Representatives will be appearing daily at Once Upon A Toy in the Downtown Disney Marketplace, as we celebrate the release of this new doll, among other fan favorites. Learn more here.

September 27 – 28: Representatives from Bulova will be on hand at World of Disney in Downtown Disney throughout the day for a special trunk show featuring their Disney inspired timepieces! There are styles for both men and women which is perfect if you are trying to plan any future Christmas shopping!

Michelle, many of us are anxiously anticipating the Vera event? Have you any idea of when more info/details will be shared?
I have never been to a book signing at Disney and would like to know if the book can be purchased outside the park and bring it to the signing or do you have to purchase it inside the park to have it signed by Marty? Thanks for all the GREAT information.

The reflection of evil animation cell is one of your best! Especially if you are into the villans. Personally I’d like to see a Tikiroom Lilo & Stitch cell. As far as watches, my favorite watches to date are my 1987 fossil watch with Walt and the shadow of Mickey on the wall, I loved the rectangular curved glass on it. It had a neat 1940’s retro feel to it.
I’m a fan of watches too. The one you described sounds great! I love the image of Walt with shadow Mickey, it’s definitely a favorite.

For the Vera Bradley release event, I was wondering if you knew which door to World of Disney early lines usually form at before the event starts that morning. I am formulating my battle plan for getting there that morning 😉

Hey JoAnn! A brief selection of the watches may be available to order via Disney Merchandise Guest Services, however it is just the Bulova watches you are looking at, those will only be available at the location during the 2-day event.
