An Insider Look at the New Ka Maka Landing at Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa

Aloha! Last month, Elliot Mills, Vice President and General Manager of Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, shared some exciting details about the expanded water features of the popular Waikolohe Valley and other resort enhancements, which officially open on October 19.

Today we wanted to give you a sneak peek at the spectacular infinity-edge pool with its realistic grotto located at Ka Maka Landing. As you can see by this stunning photo, the new pool is the perfect spot for you to relax and enjoy a gorgeous ocean front view. After dark, a magical starscape of glimmering lights appear on the grotto ceiling and the floor of the pool.

  • Would love to visit here one day!

  • Can’t wait to return to Aulani. Last week my husband had a 9 hr layover in Honolulu. He rented a car, drove to Aulani and relaxed on our favorite giant couch. He took me on a FaceTime walking tour of the resort and surprised me w/the matching Dooney messenger bag that goes with the large one I got on our first trip. We talked our friends into extending their stay on Oahu to include a couple days at Aulani so they will be there for Halloween. I’m so happy the new features will be open for their trip.

  • The poolwork is great, the infinity edge melds the pool right into the lagoon. Maika’i!

  • It is beautiful. Is this going to be an adult only pool?

  • Beautiful indeed! Can’t wait to see this in person. Aulani is pure magic.
