Our Yellow Shoes Creative Group gets to work on some pretty creative projects, and I have to say that this is one of the coolest I’ve seen. This artwork was created to promote Unleash the Villains, a “Friday the 13th” celebration that will take place at Disney’s Hollywood Studios tonight – and we just had to share it with you.

In them, Captain Hook takes the place of the ballerina who teeters precariously on a rope strung above a waiting alligator; Cruella De Vil and her henchmen sink in the quicksand; Maleficent sits atop a gravestone of a clobbered companion; and the Queen of Hearts stands atop a bucket of red paint (instead of a barrel of dynamite).

Love the Queen of Hearts…but of course she is my favorite villain!
🙂
Love it!
These are all great! The Mistress of All Evil is my favorite though. She is the best Disney Villain.
I want all 3! My favorite is either Hook or Queen of Hearts, though!
Love them all, but Captain Hook is great!
I love this one. 🙂
so are these just posters throughout the resort? Or will they aso be available as prints? These look awesome and I’d buy Captain Hook and Maleficent in a heartbeat if I could
“. . . Captain Hook takes the place of the ballerina who teeters precariously on a rope strung above a waiting alligator. . .”
But Tick-Tock’s a crocodile! 😉
Please tell me that these are available for purchase? These would be amazing as prints!
I so want Maleficent……
echoing Kaitlin “Captain Hook takes the place of the ballerina who teeters precariously on a rope strung above a waiting alligator”..
Tick Toc IS a crocodile!!!, LOL!
But love all of these 🙂
These are so much fun! My favorite traditional painting is the ballerina over the alligator (I also have a pin with Minnie over Tick-Tock), but I think Cruella and the boys sinking in quick sand is my favorite among these altered versions. Wonder if there will be any guest appearances among the residents of the Haunted Mansion… there’s room for one more!
Maleficent!
No Lady Tremaine as the Corpse Bride?!
I really like all four of them..Perhaps a slight edge towards Hook. Are these designs used on a set of merchandise items? If so, what type of merchandise, and how can we purchase?
How and where can we get these?
Cruella has always been my favorite! Love these. Are they available to purchase in any way?
Please tell me that these will be for sale online! These prints are the best.
Maleficent, always
Love them all but Capt. Hook and Maleficent are the best.
Are these going to be available at Disneyland too? I’m going tonight.
Maleficent has always been my favorite villain, but how true to form for Cruella to be riding on Jasper and Horace’s shoulders in the quick sand. I think that one is my favorite.
I believe Jennifer is referring to the original Ballerina that Captian Hook is taking the place of, as she is the one standing over an alligator.
WhaHoooooo!!! We’ll be there tonight!
oh I love the Captain Hook one! Will these be available for purchase?
I love all of them!! Queen of Hearts is my favorite because I love Alice in Wonderland.
It would be so much fun if we could buy these as posters!
Awesome job! Are these for promo display only, or will these be available as merchandise items?
Maleficent! Best villain ever, and not just “Disney villain” Best villain.
Maleficent will always been the queen of mean. My ffirsy scare as a child.
Although Maleficent is my favorite villain, I think my favorite is Captain Hook and the Crocodile. I love that zany Croc! Now the real question is: where can I purchase these?!
The Cruella Deville poster is the best!!
Terrific work. Love the Captain Hook one. Anyone have any of Robert Farrell’s pieces?
These are terrific! I have a three year old granddaughters who loves the villains instead of princesses….go figure. Would love to purchase some of these.
Jennifer you have been posting up a storm of great articles the last few days. I am loving it! You find the greatest stuff. These pictures are AMAZING. My favorite is Maleficent. I hope they do a whole series of these and include my other favorite villains in the future: Queen Grimhilde from Snow White and Dr. Facilier from Princess and the Frog.
Are these posters for sale? Maleficent is my youngest daughters favorite villain. And the haunted mansion is my oldest daughters favorite ride. I even had a cake made of the haunted mansion for her 16th birthday and she has the stretch posters framed in her room. It would make a great gift. I hope they will be available for purchase on the website.
please let me know if these are for sale. I would love to add these to my collection. Poster Prints would be fine or even better one large Poster will all of them on it.
