The Disney Magic is now in her second week of transformation, and I’ve gotten reports from the team at the shipyard that the pixie dusting process is going great!
With the ship’s relaunch in Miami quickly approaching, I’m more excited than ever about the cool new experiences for guests of all ages. Today I want to give you a glimpse at ways the entire family can have fun, including dance parties and game shows at D Lounge, Broadway-style musicals in the Walt Disney Theatre and celebratory parties up on deck.
Check it all out in this video, and let me know in the comments which fun activity is at the top of your family’s to-do list.

The new spaces look awesome and I loved Twice Charmed when we sailed to Canada. I’m so sad, however, that I won’t be able to sail on the Magic again because the beds don’t split. They really should’ve left some cabins with splitable beds to accommodate unconventional families or friends travelling together.
There really is something for everyone on a Disney cruise. Before Disney’s ships, I felt like cruises were just for retired people or very rich people…but Disney changed that for my family. I just love the Disney cruise ships. They are like floating mini-parks. And the ships are stunning to explore and look at!
Is there a way to purchase Disney merchandise from Disney Cruise Line? My 4 yr old has her heart set on being Princess Minnie for Halloween. She saw Princess Minnie on her first trip to DL and from that moment she was certain no other princess could compare. She has already informed anyone who is willing to listen that she can not wait to wear her Princess Minnie costume when she sees Minnie Mouse at MNSHP. No pressure! Up until today I did not think Disney made this costume, and have been trying to prepare my daughter for the fact we may not find one. Her response is to tell me not to worry because she is wishing for it. Well, while she has been wishing, I have been searching and have found that the Disney Cruise Line carries the Princess Minnie costume in its Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. If there was a way to arrange to purchase it and have it shipped I would be overjoyed!!! Any insight is appreciated!
Twice Charmed! Hands down my favorite musical of all time!!
Sounds fun!
