Next week, we’re kicking off the first of a series of tours in celebration of “Limited Time Magic” at the Walt Disney World Resort and continuing with our special tours at Disneyland Resort.
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, each morning from September 16-20, 2013, a group of lucky guests will be invited to join us for a special walking tour of The Great Movie Ride The Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios before the park opens to the public. You’ll also learn information about the history of Disney’s Hollywood Studios during the morning. When the walking tour is finished, attendees will have the opportunity to be the first attraction riders of the day.
You may enter here until 8:30 pm Eastern for a chance to attend one of the five daily Great Movie Ride The Tower of Terror tour sessions beginning on September 16. At Disneyland Resort, also each morning from September 16-20, 2013, a group of guests will join Disneyland Resort Ambassadors in celebrating the heritage of the Ambassador program, Disneyland park attractions and Imagineering innovation. Tour stops will include the Main Street, U.S.A., Opera House, Innoventions in Tomorrowland and “it’s a small world” in Fantasyland.
You may enter here until 5:30 pm Pacific for a chance to attend one of the five Disneyland park tour sessions beginning on September 16. There will be 25 people in each tour per day. Here are the rules for the Disneyland Park Ambassador Tour drawing.
Also, please remember the following for each drawing:
- All participants who sign up for the events must be U.S. residents who are 18 years or older.
- Each entry is valid for one participant only; winners will not be permitted to bring a guest.
- Park admission will be provided as part of the event.
- Selected participants will be assigned a tour date and time. There will be no changes or substitutions allowed.
- Tour opportunities are non-transferrable and have no cash value.
- Confirmation will be for the accepted registered winner only.
- Valid photo I.D. will be required at check-in.
- Tours are subject to restrictions and change without notice.

Thank you so much for this opportunity! My best friend and I got to explore the Tower of Terror on the Thursday tour. It has always been a dream of mine to work for the Disney Imagineers in the props dept., so this was just perfect for me.

I got accepted for Friday, but I am a substitute teacher and already have a job, which I cannot decline. If someone wants to go Friday and is assigned to Tuesday or Wednesday, can we switch? I usually never win stuff like this, and I would hate to waste this opportunity. Thanks Disney!!
I got accepted and assigned a Wednesday morning. Is there any way I can swap with someone for Tuesday morning? I am booked to work somewhere that I cannot change on Wednesday, but am available Tuesday. Please advise.

reading these posts …it looks like your meet-up links were off, etc…getting the email after the fact is a heartbreak…please fix your systems…I am very disappointed. I have been a pass holder for years, attended the very first Toy Story Mania meetup and Electronica…but I have not had any luck the last year or so…almost impossible to enter…especially when I receive the information late. I long for the days before Facebook….
I know it says you cannot switch dates but I REALLY want to go to this. The problem is I wont be in town until after 10:30 on the 19th. Is there any way possible I can go on the 20th instead? I really want to do this but I can’t on the 19th because I won’t be on property until after 11 am. Thank you for

What a shame this was only open to US residents. I am going to be in WDW next week and, as a DCV member and AP holder, I am a bit of a Disney obsessed Brit!! Would definitely have entered this as Tower of Terror is my favourite ride in Hollywood Studios!
Still seems to be having technical glitches. Clicking on the enter here for the Disney World event takes you to the Disneyland link and says the entry period has closed.
Too bad – my girlfriend/fiancee and I are here this week and would of loved the chance.

The entry period was three hours and the link offered to sign up routed people attempting to sign up for the Disney world event to the Disneyland page. Even the link listed in the official rules is to the Disneyland page

I won! But how long is the tour? I cannot find that information anywhere. And if I have an annual pass which is valid that day, will I be able to use the ticket on another day?

I was noticing on the Limited Time Magic site that the Hollywood Studios tour is at the Tower of Terror, but here it says Great Movie Ride. Any idea which one is accurate? 🙂

What a marvelous opportunity for a huge Disney fan like myself to celebrate the Disneyland culture with like minded people. I LOVE all of the tours at the park and being able to participate in such an event would be a great honor.
Just an FYI, Thomas – I attempted to sign up for the Hollywood Studios tour – the link brought me to the Disneyland website and asked me to update my profile. I had no info to update so when I agreed to the Terms and Conditions and clicked on “update” it said my home address was invalid and I cannot continue my registration. Sounds like fun, though!
Since you have to be 18 years or older to enter, and you cannot bring a guest, guests under the age of 18 are not permitted? Can you please verify this information and state kids cannot come.
HELP please… I tried to enter but got this message which concerns me that I am not logged into the correct contest/ offer:
“Unfortunately, we were unable to submit your entry as an entry already exists for you in our database. You will be notified on or around November 26 whether you’ve been selected.”
