We’re bringing back a favorite Disney Parks Blog meet-up – on Friday the 13th! Our Halloween #NotSoScary “Treat-Up” at Magic Kingdom Park will be held on September 13 and today is your chance to join the fun.

Celebrate Halloween at Our Halloween ‘Treat-Up’ at Walt Disney World Resort

The Disney Parks Blog #NotSoScary “Treat-Up” begins at 6 p.m., on Friday, September 13. This year, we’re holding the event during one of the first nights of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party so there will be even more to experience. Our meet-up will include talks with Walt Disney Imagineers and other surprises you’ve come to expect at a Disney Parks Blog meet-up.

The Disney Parks Blog team will be wearing their best Halloween costumes and it’d be great if you did too. Here are some of our favorites from the first Halloween meet-up.

Space is limited, so RSVP now by sending us an email with your name, address, and if you’re inviting a guest to WDW.BlogMeetUps@disney.com.

Also, there are a few things you should know:

  • All participants who sign up for the event must be 18 years or older, but guests do not need to be 18 or older.
  • Limit one guest per registrant.
  • We will send an email to individuals whose valid RSVPs are received by us via email before we reach the planned capacity to confirm their attendance for the event.
  • If confirmed, it will be necessary for the registrant (and guest) to check in at Magic Kingdom Park. The confirmation will include details.
  • Valid photo I.D. will be required at check-in.
  • Meet-up confirmations are non-transferrable and have no cash value.
  • Confirmation will be for the accepted registered person and guest.
  • If you do not receive an email from us confirming your reservation, then your RSVP was not accepted.
  • The event and individual appearances are subject to change or cancellation.

This post will be updated when capacity has been reached. Please note the event is subject to change or cancellation without notice.

I hope to see you in your best costume on September 13.

Comments

  • The treat-up was great! It was also extra special to see myself finally make it onto the Disney Blog! Thank you for having us!

  • Any chance guests of this event will get to try out some Magic Bands?

  • Just received my e-mail confirmation, thank you every much!

Will I or my guest require a Park Pass and/or a Mickey’s Not-So-Scary ticket to enter the Magic Kingdom to attend the ‘Treat-Up’ event?

The e-mail did not specify, so I’m thinking admission to Magic Kingdom is included! 🙂

    Thanks,
    😯

  • I made the RSVP list.
It’s September 10, but I have yet to receive my email confirmation for attending the event.
When are they being sent out?
I would really like to finalize my traveling arrangements…
    Thanks.

  • Will this be giving us access to MNSSHP or do we need to purchase separate tickets???

  • aw wish i had known about this would love to meet other bloggers

  • Jennifer: must be random, My wife and I emailed as soon as this opened and neither one of us got in.

  • One of these days I’ll get lucky enough to make a meet-up. I was watching the blog all day for a chance, and it hadn’t even been open for 30 mins before it was full!

Sad to miss out on this one, but as I was looking forward to the Limited time magic at Hollywood studios, at least I won’t have to choose between them.

  • We just found out that we will be attending on the 13th. Sorry I will miss this “Treat Up”. Sounds like fun.

  • I agree with Louise… Anything planned for Disneyland Park like last year???

  • How are people picked for this? First come first serve or random? I signed up immediately as this was posted, and I was not selected. Just curious.

  • Any chance of a Disneyland Meet Up in the near future?

  • Congrats to all with quick fingers! Can’t wait to see the photos 🙂

  • How long is the event?

  • That wasn’t open long.

  • Any idea if there will be one for Disneyland too?

  • hello

i just have a quick comment. its great that you do events like this and not everyone can always attend due to plans they have previously made. however, i would just like to point out that the night of sept 13 through the night of sept 14 is the holiest day of the year for the jewish religion. its yom kippur. and although many jews might not be religious, this is the only holiday that almost all jews celebrate.
its unfortunate that the event is on the same date.

  • Do you need to have purchased a ticket to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party in order to attend the Treat-Up?

  • Will participants in this meet-up be able to attend any of the Limited Time Magic event at DHS?

    • Hi Jennifer, this is only for our “Treat-Up” event at Magic Kingdom Park.
