Today the Disney Magic began her journey across the Atlantic Ocean, starting our countdown for the ship’s relaunch in Miami! Over the next 10 days, we’ll be putting the finishing touches on the ship and getting ready for the first guests on October 20. Helmsman Mickey is eagerly awaiting you to step aboard!

In case you aren’t following @DisneyCruise on Twitter yet, here’s a look back at some of the photos we shared this past week, including the atrium chandeliers, Hamm in Andy’s Room and the refreshed Animator’s Palate. It’s looking great, isn’t it?

  • Cannot wait to see her!!

  • The Chandelier seems underwhelming 🙁
Will see in person September 6, 2014 🙂

  • I’ve seen lots of negative comments about the chandelier. Really. Is that even worth worrying about? Disney Cruises are so awesome. Don’t think the chandelier will matter.

  • The chandelier IS a mickey mouse head tho. So that makes it better!

  • Love these updates. January can’t come soon enough for my wife and me.

  • Was/is animator’s palate changed to work like the same space on the Fantasy? We just did a cruise on the Fantasy and they did this cool thing in Animator’s where we all drew cartoon characters and then while we were eating they created an animated cartoon that featured everything that people had drawn, that was quite impressive. Plus, there are lots of interactivity in Animator’s as well with Crush the turtle. Has any of that been reproduced on the Magic or Wonder?
