Main Street Style: Mickey Takes Center Stage at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

We recently took our style search outside Magic Kingdom Park and found guests expressing their Disney Side at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And both gals and guys joined in the fun this time!
Mickey-Inspired Style at Disney's Hollywood Studios

There’s no mistaking the inspiration for these red pants. We love the unique touch of the white suspenders.

From ears to toe this look channels a best-dressed Mickey. The red vest is a clever substitute for red pants.

These BFFs are a match made for Disney Parks. The lace hem and gloves of the Minnie-inspired outfit add a sweet touch reminiscent of the mouse herself. As for the Mickey look, the fascinator ear hat and bow-tie necklace would probably get a chuckle and thumbs up from the Big Cheese.

  • It’s called ‘dapper dressing’, when we were at the studio on the 9th of September, they were having ‘dapper day’, the gals and guys looked spectacular…..so very much enjoyed seeing these young people dressed so nicely, it took me back to when my parents dressed like that……while these young people look very nice, you should have seen the other 30 or so young people that day!

  • Actually, what they are all doing here, are great examples of “DisneyBounding”. This fashion phenomenon was created by blogger Leslie Kay. Disneybounding is a way to use the goodies already in our closets and jewelry collections to subtly pay homage to Disney characters, movies, attractions and more. These “Dapper Day” bounds are great “Mickey Bounds”!!!

  • Actually, “Dapper Day” was on the 21st of September at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And also takes place at Disneyland as well on other dates in the Spring and Fall. Many people were “DisneyBounding” at that event where you use normal clothes to represent a character or theme. Many people like to mix the Dapper Style with DisneyBounding on Dapper Day. It seems like all of those pictures in this blog post were from Dapper Day. There were about 100+ people at the DisneyBound meet up and many more Dapper Day attendees. So I think this new campaign for 2014 really encourages what many know as “DisneyBounding”. To Show Your Disney Side in many aspects especially your clothing.

  • Hello!
I’m the one with the Mickey ears!
It was Dapper Day on the 21st of September (WDW) and I hosted the DisneyBound meetup which was a chance for everyone to channel Disney characters/resorts/etc while being fashionable (DisneyBound-ing).

  • YES I LOVE DISNEY BOUNDING! Thanks for the great pics!
