As part of “Limited Time Magic,” we’re offering a rare opportunity to tour the castles of Magic Kingdom Park with Walt Disney Imagineers.

Fireworks Over the Castles of Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort

Each morning from October 14-18, 2013, a group of lucky guests will be invited to join us for a special walking tour of the castles. During each session, you’ll hear some great details, including how the existing Cinderella Castle design became the main inspiration for the Cinderella Castle Suite. Imagineers will also take guests through Be Our Guest Restaurant located in the magnificent castle of the Beast and share behind-the-scenes information.

There will be only one tour each morning – with 25 guests in each group. You may enter here for a chance to attend only one of the five tours being offered from October 14-18, 2013. Also, here are the rules for the drawing for the Tours of Magic Kingdom Park Castles at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Also, please remember the following for each drawing.

  • Wow, wow, wow! What an amazing experience! I was also selected to go on the October 18th tour and was completely engulfed in the Magic! Even if it was for only a “Limited Time”, the memory will last a lifetime. I am so thankful that I was given this opportunity and just wanted to show my appreciation for Disney and all they do for Park-goers. I have been a Disney fanatic for a long time and I am so happy to say that I have truly seen it all 🙂 Thanks again to Disney Blogs for making this girl’s dream a reality!

I am also interested if there is any way we can get in touch with the Imagineers that hosted us on the tours? I would love to send them a note of thanks too!

  • Like Karen, I was fortunate enough for my name to be drawn for the tour on Friday, October 18. The funny thing is I had just returned from a weeklong trip to WDW September 29-October 5. But as a Florida Resident, I was able to drive back for the tour. It was great!

Many thanks to everyone who pulled it off from the imagineers for providing us with rich detail, to the tour guides escorting us around the Magic Kingdom to those who signed us in and any other Cast Member else who I probably have left out. I am very grateful.

  • Thomas, haven’t heard anything about how to give up my spot on Friday so I will just let it go. Sorry about messing it up for someone else. Thanks.

  • I was lucky enough to win one of the tours! I have a few questions that are not answered in my notification email, though. Does anyone know who I could contact to answer my questions? (I replied to the notification email but haven’t heard anything back, yet)

  • Forgot to mention I don’t mind paying to park…l just want to be prepared. 🙂

  • Hello. I was fortunate enough to be selected to tour on Friday! YAY! I was just reviewing my Congratulations email which states that the letter does not cover parking… But when reviewing the Rules it says that it is.

A 1-Day, 1-Park ticket plus standard car parking will be provided to each winner to permit admission to the Magic Kingdom Park to participate in the Event.

Do you know if parking will be a reimbursed expense? Or should I show both the rules and letter at the parking gate?

    Many thanks! 🙂

  • This was such an amazing opportunity, but I didn’t win. I was pretty bummed out considering I want to become an Imagineer myself. I hope they have more of these tours. 🙁

  • It would fantastic if something similar was happening for our visit next year.

  • Is there any chance that you could join one of these tours on the day of, if they aren’t full? Who would be able to answer that question?

  • Wow… How awesome would this be!?!?! My kids would have loved this. Bummed I spent the day on every other Disney site except the Blog!
