Families are being treated like royalty in a whole new way aboard the Disney Fantasy! One of our newest family-friendly experiences is Royal Court Royal Tea, an exclusive event that gives you and your little ones a chance to interact with Disney princesses like never before.

This royal tea party takes place in the Royal Court Restaurant, which is inspired by the classic Disney films “Cinderella,” “Snow White,” “Beauty and the Beast” and “Sleeping Beauty.” Adorned with sparkling chandeliers and fanciful icons like glass slippers, apples, roses and tiaras, the elegant dining room is the perfect setting for this fairy tale experience.

Other Disney friends join the party, too, including Lady Chamomile and Chef Brule who host the event as the Royal Tea Hostess and Royal Pastry Chef. They prove to be welcoming and entertaining hosts — telling stories, dancing and singing renditions of classic Disney tunes — making this a fun and interactive experience by encouraging kids to participate.
Take a look at this video with Cruise Director Lesley as she gives us a special glimpse at this magical teatime, and let us know in the comments if Royal Court Royal Tea is something you’re adding to your family’s bucket list.

Is it just me or is the experience rather pricy?
Just called DCL, here’s the scoop:
Only available on-board – no advance reservations.
$279 = 1 adult + 1 child
$210 = additional children
$ 69 = additional adults
When can you start booking this?
I need to find the granddaughter of a friend to take. This looks wonderful.
how can you book this special event?
Hope it is available in March ’15!
Anyone know what the cost will be for this? My kids (and me!) would love it!
That’s lovely! Any plans to have it on other ships like Wonder? 🙂
Is there anything like this for my daughter and nieces on the Dream?
I’m very happy to see this as an addition on the Fantasy. I asked about this event when we sailed on the Fantasy during Christmas last year and was told that it was only available on “classic ships”. I’m booked for next year, and will definitely add this to the itinerary.
We are on the Disney Fantasy in Feb 2014, is this something that I can book now?
Wish we could have done this when we were on the Fantasy last month!
Awww too bad I don’t have any kids I could take to this. I would love to go but I’m sure there is an age limit.
Greetings Jonathan,
I was so very pleased to see this latest post about this fabulous experience aboard the Disney Fantasy. You see, it was just this past August, aboard the Disney Fantasy for our eighth cruise with Disney, that I had the extreme pleasure of experiencing this magical, magical event.
We were treated like royalty from the moment we stepped on the threshold of the Royal Court Restaurant and immersed in royal splendour for the afternoon.
A truly delightful experience, I’m so very happy to see it continue.
Best regards,
Jackie
