With the holidays returning to Disney Parks, I’m excited to share this week’s “Limited Time Magic” spotlight on a special Toys for Tots promotion at Walt Disney World Resort and holiday headwear at Disney Parks.
'Limited Time Magic' Toys for Tots Promotion, Featuring Duffy the Disney Bear

From December 2-8, 2013, you can take part in a limited-time opportunity to help support Toys for Tots by donating a Duffy the Disney Bear. When you visit Once Upon a Toy or World of Disney Store at the Downtown Disney Marketplace, Disney will donate a 17-inch Duffy the Disney Bear plush to Toys for Tots for $5.00*. This holiday season, Disney is joining in the spirit of giving and will also donate $200,000 to Toys for Tots.
Holiday Headwear at Disney Parks

To get into the festive spirit, Disney Theme Park Merchandise is again offering a selection of holiday headwear. There are a few returning favorites including the Disney ear hat inspired by Santa Claus. New this year, the headwear team added a Minnie Mouse ear hat covered in sequins.

These special spotlight ears and the rest of the holiday ear hat collection can be found at select locations throughout Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts. You can also find select hats on the Disney Parks online store.

  • I would like to know about the Duffy bear donations also. And i agree w/Friend. Steven, how do we contact you??

    • @Margaret and Ann – I think you just contacted me 🙂 I respond regularly to the articles I write for the Disney Parks Blog.

  • How does one go about e-mailing Steven Miller regarding the Vera Bradley/Disney line..I have been on so many blogs and sites this is the third one. Margaret

  • I wish they were doing this at Disneyland, too, I would LOVE to be able to help donate some Duffys! Can you call the stores and make a donation over the phone?

  • Do you make a $5 purchase or a $5 donation? It’s not very clear.

    • @Leah – From my understanding, you would purchase a 17-inch Duffy the Disney Bear for $5.00 which Disney would then donate to Toys for Tots. It is important to note that your $5.00 purchase does not qualify as a personal charitable donation and is not tax deductible as a charitable contribution for US tax purposes.
