The transformed top decks of the Disney Magic sure have been a massive hit with Disney cruisers! But that comes as no surprise, of course, given that Donald Duck’s nephews – Huey, Dewey and Louie – were once again the masterminds of the brand-new water fun!
We first saw the work of these creative, yet mischievous, geniuses on the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy with the AquaDuck water coaster, and now they’ve left their mark on the Disney Magic with three fantastic new spaces.
AquaDunk
AquaDunk is a 37-foot-tall body slide that starts at the highest point of the ship, a place where Disney cruisers had never been before until now. A new staircase on deck 10 takes you inside and up to the top of the ship’s funnel where you’ll find the slide’s launchpad. You climb into the capsule, cross your arms and legs and await the surprise launch when the floor beneath you opens like a trap door! The drop then sends you on an exhilarating ride in a translucent tube that extends 20 feet over the side of the ship, ending with a huge splash back on deck 10.

AquaLab and Twist n’ Spout Slide
Using inspiration from their AquaLab creation on the Disney Fantasy, Donald Duck’s nephew’s designed a brand-new AquaLab water play area on the Disney Magic, this one with a pool and really cool slide! One of the most fun features, set amongst geysers and pop jets that spray randomly, is the Donald Boiler. This duck-shaped figure, fashioned after the hotheaded Donald Duck himself, triggers periodic bursts of high-pressure mist and gushing water. There’s also the Twist ‘n’ Spout water slide that takes little ones through a series of spirals and turns, with three large loops turning them in opposite directions, into the colorful pool below. This water playground caters to younger cruisers, but it’s a place where your entire family can have fun together.

Nephew’s Splash Zone
Of course, Huey, Dewey and Louie didn’t forget about the smallest cruisers. Their final creation on the re-imagined Disney Magic, Nephew’s Splash Zone, stars none other than … themselves! Each of Donald Duck’s nephews are represented by a squirting figure in this toddler wet play area, alongside lots of other fun, interactive water features.
Which of the nephew’s creations will your family enjoy most on your next Disney Magic cruise?
