Beginning Monday, we’re celebrating “Mary Poppins” with some special “Limited Time Magic” surprises at the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.

Disney’s 'Mary Poppins' 50th Anniversary Edition Disney's 'Saving Mr. Banks'

For a limited time, while supplies last, you will be able to get a poster celebrating the new Disney film, “Saving Mr. Banks,” in theaters December 20, and the Disney’s “Mary Poppins” 50th anniversary edition, which is now available for the first time in Blu-ray combo pack & digital HD. Posters will be available at Disney California Adventure park near Disney Animation in Hollywood Land and the United Kingdom Pavilion at Epcot.

Also next week, you can take a step back in time for a “practically perfect” photo with Mary Poppins and Bert at the same location at Disney California Adventure park. And when the wind is in the East, the pair will be dropping in at the United Kingdom Pavilion at Epcot next week for photos.

Enjoy next week’s “Limited Time Magic” celebration of Mary Poppins from December 16-22 at Disney Parks – it’ll be Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

Comments

  • I have been running around the UK Pavilion at Epcot for half an hour now and NO ONE knows anything about these posters!

  • Is there a schedule for dates and times for the photo ops yet?

  • Ryan I believe Disney’s hands have been very very much tied with this story. I think we will know more about that when we see this film. I understand the author was ‘something else’… I have heard a lot about the inability of Disney to do much with Mary Poppins hence I believe why this is about Mr. Banks! We will all find out soon maybe!!!

  • With the Blu-ray and movie promotions, will we see Mary in her “proper” red coat and umbrella at the Florida parks (outside of the parades)?
She’s had her iconic look at Disneyland since Walt’s day, but at WDW, she only appears with Bert in their “Jolly Holiday” outfits, which, well, isn’t quite the character we remember. 🙂

  • Are the dvds being given away free? Or will they just be for sell for a week?

  • As one of my favorite Disney films, I’ve always felt that the parks have fallen short of “Mary Poppins” theming, appearances & attractions, so this “Limited Time Magic” is a practically perfect dose of sugar to help the medicine go down!

Hopefully this may lead to more focused consideration for Mary, Bert, the Banks family, chimney sweeps, penguins & Pearlies in 2014!
