As part of “Limited Time Magic,” we’re offering a walk in Magic Kingdom Park that’s never before been offered to guests – hosted by Phil Holmes, vice president of Magic Kingdom Park.

Each morning beginning at 7:45 a.m. (ET), with advanced check-in starting at 7:00 a.m. (ET), on December 9-11, December 18 and December 20, 2013, selected guests will have the opportunity to join Phil Holmes and see Magic Kingdom Park from a new point of view. During each hour-long session, attendees will hear unique stories and also learn more about how the park and its cast members still look to Walt Disney for inspiration.

Here are the dates for a walk in the park with Phil Holmes:

  • Monday, December 9, 2013
  • Tuesday, December 10, 2013
  • Wednesday, December 11, 2013
  • Wednesday, December 18, 2013
  • Friday, December 20, 2013

There will be only one tour each morning – with 25 guests in each group. You may enter here for a chance to attend only one of the five tours. Also, here are the rules for the drawing for a Walk in the Park with Phil Holmes Sweepstakes at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Also, please remember the following for each drawing:

  • I had the fortune of winning, and it was truly amazing had such a great time listening to Phil and learning so much insight, thank you so much for this unforgetable gift!

  • Are we able to stay in Magic Kingdom after the tour to enjoy the park?

  • #21 – Timothy

    “7:45 a.m. (ET)”
(1st sentence after the picture of the windows)

  • Dec 18th – what time are you thinking the tour would take place?
Look forward to our 100th trip then to WDW.

  • I got selected! Very excited to attend. Thank you so much for this opportunity.

  • I would love to take part in this event. Does a Snowbird Canadian qualify for this event?

  • Thank you so much for this opportunity…I cannot even wait!!

  • I would love to attend if someone cannot make it since we will be down there for all the dates! My wife and I are huge Disney nuts. Got engaged and Married there!

  • So did anyone get selected?

  • #7 – Lucinda from IL

    “hour-long session”
(2nd sentence after the picture of the windows)

  • Wish we had time to be selected. Working full time makes these events enviable but near impossible to sign up for. Would be nice if there was greater advance notice.

  • I check the blog every day, but not necessarily first thing in the morning. It is sad to only offer a 3 hour window to sign up on the same day of the posting, especially considering time zones. It would have been more polite to post this yesterday with a signup window today. Saddened.

  • Thank you very much for the opportunity to join this amazing tour. I am so looking forward to it.

  • I cannot wait for this amazing opportunity! Thank you!

  • Thank you for this amazing opportunity – I appreciate it!

  • It is really too bad that these events are “sold out” almost immediately. The Facebook post is dated two hours ago, but the time to sign up has “expired” Same thing happened to the tour of Cinderella Castle. I live an hour away and could have been there any time. These limited time Magic certainly are.

  • Nicholas – I am sure there are legal reasons why non-US residents can’t win contests within the US like this. It’s pretty common here.

  • How long is the tour expected to last?

  • Why are all the tours limited to US residents only? As a a pass holder from the UK (who visits several times a month) I never receive Mickey monitor, AP gifts – such as the magnet, and cannot sign up for park tours as part of limited time magic….. Yet I am expected to pay the same as US residents

  • Interesting .. the URL starts with “disneyland”
I wonder why parking is never included when one of these types of events happens at Disneyland.

  • Sorry- also- can I bring my 2 year old since he is usually free?

  • can I enter my kids also? is there an age restriction? I didn’t see one

  • Ohh, I really want to go….

  • How does one apply?
