Update: This video is no longer available. Check out our updated story for a look at the wilderness and wildlife you can experience on a Disney Cruise to Alaska!

Alaska is surely one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. There is nothing quite like seeing the breathtaking, untouched terrain where the mountains and glaciers meet the sea. What makes it even more special are the vast opportunities to spot wildlife, everything from birds and seals, to bears and whales.

In the next video of our “Mom’s Take” video series, Nancy from the Disney Parks Moms Panel shows you some of the wilderness and wildlife you’ll experience on a Disney cruise to Alaska. Of course, no photos and videos will ever compare to seeing it in person, but I hope it will whet your appetite for joining us to experience it yourself this summer!

  • Thanks so much John! Keep your fingers crossed for me, I’m hoping to book the trip soon.

  • I did an Alaska cruise in early September and saw lots of salmon, whales and other sea critters. I didn’t do any excursions for land animals, though, so I can’t help you there. I hope you have a great time on your cruise. I sure did.

  • Is there an optimum timeframe between June and September to go on an Alaskan cruise? Can you still have great animal sightings in September?
