It’s no secret that Disney goes above and beyond to add magic to your family vacation, and our cruises in Europe are no exception. When sailing the Mediterranean, you’ll find several ways that we make traveling overseas a more enjoyable experience for you and your little ones.

In the next video of our “Mom’s Take” series, Marcy from the Disney Parks Moms Panel gives helpful tips for navigating Europe with kids and shows how our European voyages cater to both them and you. Take a look, and let us know in the comments if you have any additional insight from your own travels.

  • Hello Jonathan,

We are sailing our ninth cruise with Disney this summer from Venice. At cruise end, our port arrival time in Venice is 6:30 p.m. Do you know if any of the excursions offered through Disney Cruise Line will commence at that time? We are a little disheartened by this port ashore time as it does not really allow us enough time in Venice and we are now contemplating adding extra days before the cruise.

Also, I have been saving port excursions to my Favorites but cannot yet find any excursions in Katakolon and Rhodes Greece. Do you know if Disney Cruise Line will offer excursions at those ports of call? Katakolon is about thirty minutes from Olympia and we would love to be able to see this marvel. Regarding Rhodes, it is quite a distance from the port to the Colossus of Rhodes and the Acropolis of Lindos where again, we would appreciate an excursion with the peace of mind afforded by Disney Cruise Line.

This would really help out with my planning. Thank you.
