Every Disney parade has it’s own unique sound, and the new “Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade” opening at Magic Kingdom Park next month is no different. This daytime spectacular will feature an original theme song and score by Composer Mark Hammond, who previously worked on “World of Color” at Disney California Adventure park and the “Flights of Fantasy” parade at Hong Kong Disneyland.

During a recent orchestra recording session, Mark and Senior Music Producer Dan Stamper shared some thoughts about the parade’s soundtrack.

  • Is there any chance that we will be able to purchase the parade music on CD? That would be wonderful <3

  • I miss being in a recording studio!

  • How funny! I read the headline and first thing that came to mind was that they were laying some sort of rails into the pavement to accommodate the new parade floats! Took a second to realize the “tracks” are musical and not metal! Silly me.

  • The music sounds great. I would love a soundtrack.

  • How wonderful! Do you know if there are plans to release a soundtrack of the parade on CD?

  • … … …
    I want a soundtrack.

  • I can hardly wait!! Will we know the opening day? or will they do a soft opening? I’d love to be there on opening day!

    • We hope to have opening day information soon! Stay tuned.
