We had an exciting week on the Disney Parks Blog, with international and domestic news to share, as well as new images and renderings of upcoming projects.

First up, we unveiled the official logo for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, which will open soon in New Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park. What do you think?

This week, our friends at Shanghai Disneyland also shared with us the first rendering of Shanghai Disneyland’s Treasure Cove, an entire land that will be dedicated to pirates. Looks like it will be amazing!

And in other cool images we shared this week, two celebs showed up to visit some characters at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Tina Fey, who stars in the new film “Muppets Most Wanted” and actress Katie Holmes both paused for a photo at the park.

  • Hi Jennifer,

Yet another exciting week featuring impressive news. Shanghai Disneyland’s Treasure Cove looks so incredible, I’m sure guests there will be captivated. I would love to see that concept replicated at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Muppets Most Wanted will be such an adorable movie, the television commercials I’ve seen thus far are wonderful!

Lastly, another gem of New Fantasyland, The Seven Dwarf’s Mine Train is going to be a hit, I can just imagine riding that mine train now.

Disney Imagineers create magic yet again, they’re the best at what they do!

    Thank you,

  • So love all the updates and pictures.
Makes me want to be there all the more 172 sleeps and counting lol

  • Will we be able to ride April 18?? I have been following all of your posts for a few months now anxiously waiting!! I have 25 days left until we go and soooo want to know if so, so that we can plan our days at which park…a couple of years ago, we were there when Dumbo had “unofficially” opened so I guess it was just finally ready, but not yet had a press day or whatever….maybe this will have a similar opening??? I think they called that a soft opening?
