Here’s a little trivia: did you know former “Cheers” star and the Disney•Pixar “lucky charm” John Ratzenberger once appeared on the silver screen in the Star Wars saga? Before he frequented the watering hole where everybody knew his name, he braved the frigid planet Hoth in a minor role in Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back. Next stop for Ratzenberger (or, as he may be known to Star Wars fans: Major Bren Derlin) will be Disney’s Hollywood Studios for Star Wars Weekends 2014.
Today, we’re pleased to announce the full talent lineup for this year’s event. Celebrities scheduled to attend include Star Wars actors and actresses from the past (from the Star Wars film saga), present (from the popular animated series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars) and even the future (from the eagerly anticipated Disney XD animated series Star Wars Rebels).
As we previously announced, acclaimed voice actor James Arnold Taylor is the official celebrity host of this year’s event. We’re pleased to announce today that Ashley Eckstein, voice of Ahsoka Tano in The Clone Wars, a former Walt Disney World Resort parade performer and now a successful fangirl fashion designer, will be the host of a special “Behind The Force” show each weekend. This year, “Behind The Force” will showcase some of the main cast members from Star Wars Rebels.
Also of note: Weekend V will feature the most Star Wars celebrities to appear at one time in the event’s history.

hi Gary! I’m with Kathleen – there hasn’t been any further information on Mark Hamill’s appearance. I “hear” there is a 3 o’clock show… there aren’t any additional shows listed in fastpass+ Thank you!
Hello! 🙂 Gary, the talk show Mark Hamill will be on, is it open to everyone? Are reservations needed? Thanks!
why can you only book star wars weekend events on windows devices but not apple?
What an incredible line up of stars! I showed this post to my brother who is a huge Star Wars fan and things are shaping up for his very first Walt Disney World visit this month.
He finally crossed over to the magical side of things!
Thank you,
Jackie
Gary, Is Ashley one of the celebrities you need a FastPass for autographs for? As she is not listed as an official guest and will be there every weekend, I would just like to know the process to follow to meet her. She is my daughter’s favorite and we are trying to insure that she gets to see her and meet her. Thanks so much! REALLY excited only 31 days to go!
Will there be Star Wars Rebels merchandise available for the Rebels celebrities to sign?
How many items will each Celebrity sign per person? Will the sign non-disney items? This will be my first time going and I am unsure what to bring. Thank you for any help!
Will James Arnold Taylor and Ashley Eckstein be part of the autograph signings?
Thanks for the update Gary… I have to ask though… traveling with disabled members and getting fast passes was a challenge (actually just didn’t do it) the last time we came… Any tips on how early you really need to be out in line.. The shows, will they have fast pass/disabled seating… would love to understand the process more before getting there.
Are there any rules or new policies for when your able to start lining up to get a fastpass for autographs during Star Wars wkend? I read something about no longer able to show up the day before only a couple hrs prior to park opening?
Fantastic to see the Clone Wars cast together again ! I hope some of the crew will be around too, maybe for a Rebels panel ?
Wow, Rytlock Brimstone and Countess Anise will be in Weekend V! 🙂
Rebecca the shows and the parade never had fast passes before the new system it was first come first serve unless Disney says otherwise I am assuming it will be the same this year. Autographs you have to get in line early before park open to get in line for a fast pass. These lines get very long and people do show up in the wee hours of the morning for their favorites
Weekend V is nothing but voice actors. I love it!
I just wish the opening weekend would have more going on.
We were there for weekend 2 last year and saw Warwick Davis then. Will he be in the same show he did in 2013? I’m a little disappointed we won’t be able to see someone else this time around.
Hello Andra,
Yes, our pal who portrayed one of the heroes of the Rebellion will once again talk about his life on Endor & beyond in “An Ewok’s Tale – my short story” at this year’s event. That’s one I plan on seeing myself. Warwick is a great storyteller and entertainer.
Will everyone (besides Mark Hamill) be doing autograph sessions? Has there been any change in the procedure for obtaining an autograph ticket?
Hello Julia, Rebecca & Kameo,
Thanks for writing. For celebrity talent autographs, you can head to disneytheforce.com and click on “Autographs with the Stars” for details. My advice, as always, is to arrive early.
How will Fastpass+ reservations work for this event? I am SOOOO excited about the lineup weekend 4!!
When will we be able to view times and locations for the events and shows on the Walt Disney World website, so we can add them to our MyDisneyExperience account?
I’m disappointed at the final weekend, especially since it was added on. Wish we would have picked a different time now. We would have liked to get an autograph from at least one person in one of the live action movies.
WOW! Weekend IV looks unbelievable!!!
Michael,
I agree. Anytime you can have Luke Skywalker, Lando Calrissian and Darth Maul in one theme park, it’s definitely something bigger than a moon…or a space station.
Where can we see them? meet and great them?
so which of the celebs are signing and which are not?
Joshua,
All celebrities with the exception of Mark Hamill will participate in autograph sessions. Mark will participate in the Legends of the Force motorcade and a special talk show so as many fans as possible can see him during his time at the event.
