  • I requested my decal on June 2, 2014 and never got my decal either. 🙁

  • Never got my decal 🙁

  • The company who is making the decals said we wouldn’t get it until 6 – 8 weeks AFTER THE PROMOTION IS OVER. But I can’t find an ending date. Can you tell me what it is?

I also think they should have been clear about that because it doesn’t say it in the email or the site.

  • loved the idea…but I never received my decal, it said it would be shipped, but we never got it… 🙁

  • That’s a shame, Maria! I wish they’d been up front about that from the first so I didn’t waste so much time trying! Oh well. :p

  • Gillian:

Same thing here, no premium content, no decal option. I’m using Chrome and I’m outside US too.

I also wish we could play a little bit more with toddlers and pups.

  • There is no goatee, so I can’t make my boyfriend! Will any new items be added to the options?

  • I can’t seem to order a decal no matter what browser I use, or which computer I try. The “premium” content never comes up for me. I’m wondering if it’s only available to people in the US and the site recognizes my IP address isn’t American. Regardless of the cause, it’s a bummer. 🙁

A little pair of Mickey ears would have been cute to put on the pups too.

  • Hi,
I’m 72 and didn’t have any problem making the decal and it is on its way to my home. I used Explorer and it was no problem
First I did a search – Show Your Disney Side. When it popped up I went down the left side of this site to the child icon and clicked on that icon. Then I followed the instructions so maybe you are making it harder then it really is.

  • Linda —

It sounds like the Build Your Disney Side site either thinks you already ordered your decal, or you didn’t get to the premium content.

Did you access the premium/more advanced accessories (the ones with the lock icons next to the images)? You don’t need to access that level to get a downloaded stick figure (you can build a more basic stick figure with fewer options), but you need to access it to have the decal mailed. A box pops up (after you click on an icon with a lock next to it) that says “Want to Unlock Premium Content?” The “premium content” level would have required you to give your email address, etc.

You should see the option to order the actual decal to the right of the Download option, in the bottom right area of the page.

If you inadvertently ordered the decal of the image before you were ready to, you won’t be able to order another decal but you should be able to create another stick figure image for download.

After you order the decal you will get a confirmation email that tells you that your decal will arrive in 4-6 weeks.

  • I’ve tried ordering a decal (tried on both Chrome and IE), but it only lets me download the image. Am I doing something wrong? I’d love one of these for my car.

  • In my above post I indicated to click on the option that is more advanced. That wasn’t a sufficient explanation. Lol.

Be sure to click on one of the accessories or options for the stick figures that has a lock over it. When you click on the locked accessory you will be asked if you want the premium option or (something close to that). The premium option (which is still free) will direct you to enter in your email address, etc. That’s how you will ultimately get your mailed decal in 4-6 weeks. Also, you will have a larger variety of accessories, hairstyles, etc., from which to choose. I overlooked the options with the camera and the (what appears to be) Santa Mickey ears the first time I went to the site because I didn’t go the additional pages of clothing/accessories.

  • I can’t see the page! It lists all the links, but doesn’t display any graphics. I am able access all other links for the “Disney Side” site except buildyourdisneyside
Please help? This is happening on Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. I am using a desktop.

  • Sharon, Deb, etc. —

I went to buildyourdisneyside. Or, you could go to the Disney Side website and find the Build Your Disney Side tab on the lower left side of the page.

It’s really easy! I used Explorer. I used a desktop, not a phone. The site loads and guides you through the process of creating your stick figure.

Be sure to select the option that is more advanced, instead of just the basic stick figure. When you select the more advanced option you will be asked to give your address and info, and that is what will enable you to order the free decal when you’re done creating the figure(s).

You can create an image for just you or for your family, with varying backdrops and accessories, but there is a limit of only one actual mailed decal per family. You can choose to download the image as well as ordering the decal. The download will be a purple image. The actual decal will have the color that you select on the site.

You can edit and download the images more than once(which is good if you want to give your figures different outfits!) but, again, there will only be one actual decal mailed out per account, if I am not mistaken.

  • So cute! Just ordered my decal (using Firefox, by the way). Once it gets here, off to find a magnet to attach it to so I can put it on the car. Or I like the idea from the poster who suggested using it for the stateroom door on a Disney cruise.

  • I agree with Deb, is this an app? If not, how do I get started?

  • I don’t have any idea how to do this. Can someone help me? Where do I go what do I do?

  • This was very cute, but it didn’t allow me to give our dogs a Disney side. At least with the decals in the store they have Mickey ears. So no decal for us.

  • where is the link on the disneyside page? I can’t even find it

  • This is great. I wish they would have included the option of a Disney Cruise ship for the background in addition to the parks – it would have been a perfect choice for making a door magnet for an upcoming Disney Cruise.

  • To order the decal, you will need to use Google Chrome. I tried with Mozilla and IE, but could not get to the bottom of the page to submit.
I was able to order it through Chrome.

  • To get the free decal, you will need to use Google Chrome. I tried to do it with Mozilla and IE, but neither would work. I tried Chrome and it worked.

  • I created mine but there’s no Ordering-Decal-button for me 🙁

  • I filled out the form to submit for the free decal but theres no button that i can find to submit it, what am I missing? Im using mozilla firefox

  • This was a lot of fun and now the image sits proudly on my Facebook Cover Photo.

    Thank you,

  • I am soooo loving this, thank you. I’m going to wait for my niece to get out of school for the day we can create ours together. She’ll be super stoked (as am I). 🙂
