UPDATE: This live event has concluded. Please keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for future live events.

If you can’t join us in New Fantasyland tomorrow, we’re offering a special opportunity to watch the official dedication of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train live – right here on the Disney Parks Blog.

Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Chairman Tom Staggs as well as Disney Princess Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will be inviting everyone to Rock Your “Disney Side” and celebrate the addition of the final component to New Fantasyland during Friday’s dedication.

Our special Disney Parks Blog live stream begins at 7:25 a.m. EST on May 2, and we’ll be providing updates on the @WaltDisneyWorld Twitter account before and during the event. You can also learn more about the family-style coaster before the live stream by checking out our exclusive “All in the Details” series.

See you back here on Friday morning.

  • I’ve read the official start date for all guests is Wednesday 28 May 2014. You can schedule FastPass+ from that date one.

  • Anyone know where I go to see the video?

  • We arrive tomorrow, so hope this ride will be open!

  • How do I get to the live stream?

  • Hello! The stream begins @ 7:25 am, but is that when the dedication ceremony begins? If not, do you know what time?

  • One day too early. My trip to Disneyworld starts on Saturday so I’ll just miss this 🙁 Glad it will be live streamed though!

  • Yay!!! It’s been so fun building up to this! I wish I was there, but I will catch it online and catch it live in July!

  • YAY! Will it be open from dedication on? Please?

  • Fantastic! Approximately how long will the live steam be?

  • So does this mean that the ride officially opens May 2nd?

  • Is there someplace to see this live? Is it at the Magic Kingdom? Or is this a closed event? I am a local.
