Over the weekend, hundreds of Disney Parks Blog readers gathered for a sneak preview of “Planes: Fire & Rescue” at AMC Downtown Disney 24 at Walt Disney World Resort.

In addition to seeing the film, which tells the story of a crew of elite firefighting aircrafts who protect the historic Piston Peak National Park from wildfires, our guests also heard some “making-of” details from Producer Ferrell Barron and Director/Co-Writer Roberts “Bobs” Gannaway.

  • Thank you so much! We had a great time at the meet up and really loved Dusty’s new adventure!

P.S. The popcorn at the AMC Theater was the best movie popcorn ever!

  • Thanks for hosting us. Great movie and nice addition to the franchise. Lots of good day-to-day lessons to use too (as we used on Sunday). The kid in the fire truck at the end is adorable….oh wait, that’s mine!

  • From the other Fred from CA,

How about a meetup in the Disneyland Resort AMC theatres! My family would love to see the preview

  • Thank you Disney Parks Blog for the opportunity to watch this film! My fiancee and I both love this movie, and think it was better than the first one. Which is a huge praise, since we both think the first was a great movie!

  • Thank you for doing this Disney! Our family had a blast at this and we hope that you keep doing these for upcoming movies.

    • Thanks, Ethan. I’m happy you had a good time.

  • I wasn’t there, but it looks like it was a fun event! I’m looking forward to seeing the film. I really enjoy the Cars and Planes movies.
