A few weeks ago, we officially opened the doors to the Marketplace Co-Op, our newest retail location in Downtown Disney Marketplace at Walt Disney World Resort. This flexible space location will be a testing ground for new retail shop concepts, products and Guest experiences.
If you have yet to visit, here is a quick grand circle tour of my new favorite shopping destination at Disney Parks. Look for cameos by Tom Sheldon, manager of retail design and development for Disney Theme Park Merchandise, and Ron James, area manager for merchandise presentation, at the beginning of the video. I first interviewed Tom in November 2013 about the shop in this Disney Parks Blog story, and it was amazing to watch the location come to life during these past few months.

Well, ever since this whole CoOp idea came around my bank account is in need of some serious resuscition! I am sooo in love with everything. I mean really, this store is my dream come true. My favorite Disney items have always been anything for the home and little touches I can wear everyday. I am so excited a lot is being offered online. I have purchased more than I can list, but some fav’s would be the Vintage Map Collection, Mickey’s Diner Collection, and well everything. Great job Disney!

We are so bummed!
We bought 2 of the 4 “Land” tumblers at Disneyland last week.
(2 great cast members: Moe and Diana, actually opened the window case at the Emporium, in order for us to buy them. Super helpful/friendly folks!)
When home, we bought one more online.
We still need (and can’t find or order) the Fantasyland one!
Do you know when and where we can find the last one to complete our set?

You are such a charismatic presenter! Love the way you cheerfully represent the Disney name and its FANTASTIC merchandise. I have been waiting for this to open since you mentioned it on the first blog post previewing merch at the beginning of the year – can’t wait to shop here on my next vacation! The home decor section is AMAZING!! I just love sophistically incorporating Disney into every part of my home. I have a personalized D-Tech on Demand case from D23 and I am so happy it will be available all the time at the Co-Op. You know how much guests love personalizing their Disney! I forgot! I purchased the “Mickey’s Ice Cream”, “Minnie’s Bakery”, and “Goofy’s Candy” plates and mugs and I’m in love. I see there are coordinating tin signs!! Any way I can get the SKU/price for the Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy signs? They look awesome!!! Thank you!
Steven, we recently visited the Trophy Shop and purchased a few Boston Red Sox items, one of them being a blue Red Sox hat with the lettering done in a red sequin (blingy) design. I LOVE my hat but lost it this weekend at the airport. I was wondering how I could purchase another?? Thanks for your help!! Oh, and absolutely LOVE the store, even though they put the Red Sox items right next to the Yankees items!! LOL…
I am a big Orange Bird fan and am glad to see all the merchandise coming out now with him on it. I have a question. I believe there was a picture posted in the past with an Orange Bird ear hat. Is such a thing still available? I would love to be able to get one for my trip next year!
