Bidding a Bittersweet ‘Adios’ to Costa Rica With Adventures by Disney

My Adventures by Disney journey through Costa Rica has, sadly, come to an end. However, I wanted to share with you some final memories from this unique trip.

Our last evening in Central America was truly spectacular, including mojito making lessons (with a non-alcoholic cocktail option for the teens!), a delicious farewell dinner and lively regional music. We even enjoyed a live performance from local dancers dressed in the traditional wardrobe of Guanacaste in Costa Rica.

Best of all, the performance was capped off with a dance lesson for the entire group!

But, what truly made our adventure so remarkable was our Adventure Guides Ron (or, as we called him, “Ponce de le Ron”) and Frankie (with his trusty sidekick Teddy).

It was these guys who really made the trip magical! From leading us through the rainforest and keeping us entertained during rain storms, to feeding us, guiding us, sharing stories of the local culture and filling us all with laughter, Frankie and Ron went above and beyond to make this an adventure we’ll always remember.

Thank you for following along on my Adventures by Disney journey this past week. I hope you enjoyed hearing about my Costa Rican adventure as much as I enjoyed sharing my stories (and photos)!

  • Good to see that Teddy is still around. Frankie was our guide with Mike when we went on our 2nd Adventure By Disney to San Francisco, Yosemite, and Lake Tahoe. He is really cool.

  • It was a wonderful trip, and the guides were amazing! We enjoyed meeting you, David, and learning about some of the magical experiences that you’ve had. Pura Vida!

  • Frankie and Teddy get around! I enjoyed seeing them in Italy and Switzerland!
