Last summer, my friend and fellow Disney Parks Blog author, Erin Glover, shared some of the best places to enjoy “Magical” fireworks spectacular at Disneyland park. Today, we continue the “Disneyland Resort Viewing Tips” series with a video of the top 5 locations to catch the show this summer.

Where is your favorite place to enjoy “Magical”? I prefer the center of Main Street, U.S.A., between Refreshment Corner and Main Street Photo Supply Co. Leave your answer in the comments below!

  • If you can time it right, from a boat on the Storybook Land attraction. I’ve been lucky enough to be on the ride when the fireworks start. Great place to watch the fireworks

  • Through sheer coincidence, last month my brothers and I found ourselves on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad during the fireworks. Along with the redone explosion effects on the ride, it really did feel like we were careening through an out of control blasting accident.

We’d come out of a tunnel and a giant firework would fill our vision, or a series of bright fireworks would ignite behind us. The whole experience was really amazing!

    • Absolutely, AJ! Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is a blast during the fireworks! Next time you’re at Disneyland park, try to ride Matterhorn Bobsleds during the show!

  • In Fantasyland, next to Prince Charming Regal Carrousel, right up close to the fireworks and the music playing loud and clear. Bonus – not crowded.

  • Water’s edge at Rivers of America is great, but I’m starting to like Heather’s suggestion to watch from the entry/exit deck of Innoventions.

  • From the Train Platform, From the entry/exit deck of Innoventions (you have to get there before they close – which is about 25 minutes before the fireworks show starts), From the top of the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure, or Downtown Disney outside the House of Blues (although the last two you cannot hear the music).

  • Rivers of America

    • I love to watch the fireworks by the Rivers of America too, Kyle! Especially watching “Fantasmic!” first – it’s a double feature!

  • From the very front side of the hub, within the first 20 rows of people or so.

    • Great choice, Adam!
