What’s not to love about “Frozen”? It has a great story, unforgettable characters … and those songs!
Now through September 1, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is playing host to a bevvy of film-inspired offerings that include a new fireworks spectacular, a procession, falling snow, special snacks and exclusive merchandise, plus opportunities for guests to celebrate their “Frozen” Side by joining in a group singalong or moving to the beat at a “Frozen” dance party.
That said, here are five things you’ll definitely dig about the new “Frozen” offerings at the park.
- New “Frozen” Fireworks – It’s not every day that a Disney Park debuts a new fireworks show – this is huge deal! The brand-new fireworks spectacular was inspired by the story of “Frozen.” It features songs from the film and a not-to-be-missed finale (which I won’t give away here). Our Entertainment team constantly tries to raise the bar, so this is one show that you can’t miss!
- Kristoff – Another hero from the film has joined in the fun at the park. Spot Kristoff on the Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post float in the “Anna and Elsa’s Royal Welcome” procession at 11 a.m. and on stage during the Frozen Fireworks spectacular at night.
- Snow at Disney’s Hollywood Studios – It may be July, but the heat is no match for Elsa’s magical powers. Look for snow flurries on Hollywood Blvd. during “Anna and Elsa’s Royal Welcome” procession and during other entertainment moments.
- “Frozen” Sing-Along Celebrations – You sing “Let It Go” at home, in your car – and as in my case, possibly even in the office. Thanks to the “For the First Time in Forever: A “Frozen” Sing-Along Celebration,” there’s now an organized place where we can all sing the songs from the film together, multiple times each day.
- Ice Skating In Summer – One of the many fun things to do inside Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post & Frozen Funland on Soundstage One is ice skate. In July. How cool is that?

Dreams really do come true. All of you that wished for Frozen Summer to be extended, you got your wish. It will be extended through Sept. 28th. I had wished for this too because I will be at HS on Sept 27th, so they extended it just in time for me to see it. Thanks Disney. I can’t wait to see all the festivities.
please disney! extend this until the end of september! my daughters fourth birthday will be spent in hollywood studios and (like all other little girls) would LOVE to see and experiences this!!!please please please!
What’s the deal with how this with work with the Unleash the Villians hard ticket event on August 23rd? The UTV starts at 7pm, so some of the Frozen events like the fireworks will not happen?
Please consider extending through end of year! Hate to miss it on our halloween trip! My little Frozen fans would be beside themselves with delight.
Any chance it’s going to extend beyond September 1st? I’ll be there on September 11!
No update on timing, but please check back!

That’s great to hear, Matthew!
Just curious. Do we need to buy the frozen summer fun package to attend events like the sing along?? Just trying to figure out if that package is something we really want ( we already booked BBB and Cinderella Royal Table )… Thanks.
You do not. The package just guarantees seating will be reserved for you. If not, waiting in line is possible. (Only a portion of seats are set aside for package guests).
Do you know if they have the animators versions of Anna And Elsa, on the parks shops?
I agree with the email thing as well, I stopped getting them too. I can’t even find anywhere to re-sign up. 🙁
I wish the Frozen events were going to last longer. We won’t be getting out there until November of next year and my girls would just love it (ok, me too! lol).
cant wait to see this we are there in a few weeks time.x
Does anyone know how long this will last? We will be down in October…I hope the continue it!!
Currently the Frozen Summer Fun offerings are set to end on Sept. 1.
Every time I see an article about this, I am going to post a comment in the hopes that you will continue this through the end of 2014. . . . Please, please, please continue this through the end of 2014. . ..PLEASE!!!!
oops I forgot to mention my Olaf cupcake was delicious…. definitely worth trying! I found him right inside the entrance to HS at the ice cream station. Yummy and very cute!
I had an Anna cupcake over the weekend. It was great. 🙂
oops forgot to say my Olaf cupcake (got him at the ice cream station right inside the entrance to Hollywood Studios) was delicious! definitely a treat to have!
I was there yesterday -love my annual resident pass!…. the parade was awesome … took a ton of pictures. We didn’t go to the sing alongs because we had made other plans. Love my Olaf to go that I can take with me… unfortunately need to come back for another because he didn’t survive the run back to my car in the downpour yesterday. I am already making plans to go back to see the firework show and the other events!
The sing-along is supposed to be a lot of fun!
I also hope that this continues beyond September 1st. My 5 year old daughter and 2 year old son (and me too) are obsessed with Frozen and this would be so much fun!
Any idea what the desserts for the dessert party consist of?
Yes, they offer “Frozen”-themed desserts, including Anna Blue Raspberry Parfait Pushup, Olaf Carrot Cheesecake Lollipops, Valley of the Living Rock Pastel Crispy Bon Bons, Grand Pabbie Strawberry Shortcake with Silver Snow Beads and Character Coins.
I have to agree with Tom and Suzanne! My 18 month old son LOVES this movie and we are headed your way on September 13th. PLEASE tell them to extend it!!!!!
Thanks in advance 🙂

I hope this continues past the summer. We are visiting in early October.
