Earlier this week, Disney Parks Blog author Shawn Slater reminded us that there are only a few more weeks to enjoy Harambe Nights at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Harambe Nights includes “The Lion King Concert in the Wild,” a retelling of “The Lion King” that features a celebrity narrator, live orchestra, choir and more. The evening event also features a welcome reception and the post-show street party that features Afro-pop music, performers, a buffet and more. Fabulous!! Entertainment was Broadway quality and quite different from what we expected. Food was very good but do wish there was additional entrees available. Music for the street dancing was so exciting and it was great to see different generations participating. We all agreed (6 of us) that it was the high spot of the whole week at WDW. Nice to do and event that was well attended but not overly so with pushing and shoving. GREAT!
