Once again, we have readers and fans to thank for more amazing awards. Today, Travel + Leisure announced its World’s Best Awards 2014, and Disney Cruise Line and Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa earned top distinctions.
Disney Cruise Line was named the Top Mega-Ship Cruise Line for the first time and the Top Mega-Ship Cruise Line for Families once again. Readers rated cruise lines on several different criteria, including cabins, food, service, itineraries/destinations, excursions/activities and value.
On land, Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, was named the Top Hotel for Families in the United States. That’s no surprise, given how many families continue to tell us how much they love this beautiful Disney resort in Hawaii.

I agree with Pamela. As great as Aulani is, the way the cast members treated us made the trip 1000% better! We even ran into one of the photopass cameramen at the Target (he could tell we were staying there by the shirts my Dad and I were wearing!) Eric and his Mom talked with us for over half an hour letting us know the best ways to get the most out of our stay. Our time with Uncle was so great, we went back to the fire side chats every chance we got!
Congratulations Disney!! In fact, we traveled to Aulani in November of 2013, and just got back from a Disney Cruise on the “Dream”
We had a FANTASTIC time on both trips!!
I can’t say enough about the Disney employees. They want everyone to have a GREAT time. Aulani is simply BEAUTIFUL and the DREAM was like it’s name. It was very hard to come home after being pampered so much!!
