Keeping the ‘Frozen Summer Fun’ Going at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Since last month’s debut of “Frozen Summer Fun LIVE! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios,” Olaf the snowman has really been enjoying his very first summer vacation. Our guests have been having an icy blast, too, being part of Anna and Elsa’s Royal Welcome, singing along during “For the First Time in Forever: A ‘Frozen’ Sing-Along Celebration,” and ice-skating and playing in the snow at Wandering Oaken’s Frozen Funland!

This popular special event was originally set to melt away September 1, but who says summer has to end on Labor Day? After all, it’s warm and sunny much of the year in Central Florida! Now Olaf – and many of you – will be pleased to hear that due to popular demand, “Frozen Summer Fun LIVE!” is being extended through September 28!

You can enjoy “Frozen Summer Fun LIVE!” for an additional four weeks. Most entertainment and other features will continue daily, while the “Frozen Fireworks” Spectacular will be presented each night through September 1 (with the exception of August 23), and then switch to Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, September 5-28.

  • Dear Disney, I wished upon a star, but it never hurts to add a comment to social media. . . . as many people have suggested, asked, begged, etc., please extend Frozen Summer Fun for all the people that are not crazy enough to come during the summer =), or who have kids that are not yet in school that plan their trip for the off season. We want in on the Frozen Summer Fun action too!!!

  • Question, as I looked at the schedule of activities for Sept 7 I didn’t see the arrival parade at 11. Will that not be occurring anymore?

  • Does this mean the entire attraction will be staying or just the show and the fireworks? Will the ice skating rink still be open?

  • We are coming to Disney in February and my daughter is a Frozen fanatic. She has been singing the soundtrack at every opportunity. With the popularity of the movie, soundtrack and now the event at Disney Hollywood Studios I not only hope that you extend until we get there but that you consider keeping at least some of these attractions permanently.

  • We recently saw the short ice skating performance at Wandering Oakens Trading Post. It was fantastic!! This event would be perfect during Christmas time and all year long having ice skating and a atmo show at Disney world. It made my families vacation! The performers were also really from Norway which added an extra special twist to their meet and greet. They even taught our children a few moves on the ice! It was the HIGHLIGHT of our trip! Do not end this anytime soon Disney!

  • Another request for an ongoing extension of this popular attraction! Hollywood Studios is not otherwise on our A-list.

  • Love, love, love this event–I so hope they’ll extend it a bit longer! The fireworks and shows are truly remarkable.

  • Please extend it through end of the year! We are coming in November and our kids would absolutely love to see Frozen Summer Fun LIVE! We would switch around our schedule and go to Hollywood Studios, which we weren’t planning to do, unless this gets extended.

  • Please consider extending this. We are taking our daughter for her 7th Birthday the begining of February and Frozen is her favorite!!! Would so love for her 7th Birthday to be extra special!!!!

  • pleeease extend through the holidays! My 6 yo granddaughter’s new blended family includes a 5 yo sister who has never been to WDW! The new extended/blended family is coming in Nov and she is anxious to show her new sister all of her favs!

  • I am so bummed we are not go to be coming till Oct. 3 and my daughter is absolutely obsessed with frozen and would really love to see this. I wish they would extend it longer so many more people could enjoy this and add to their Disney experience.

  • Please extend this event, we are visiting in October and my 3 year old daughter loves Frozen, and I have to agree with a few other posts Hollywood studios is missing something, especially for preschoolers.
