The Halloween season returns to Disney Parks in just a few days. I recently took a break from making my next homemade costume to visit Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort. There, I stopped by the Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A., to make this short video highlighting my favorite Halloween merchandise items created especially for Disney Parks.
The products shown in the video can be found in select merchandise locations at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts.
You can also find select items by visiting http://www.DisneyStore.com/Halloween.
Trick or treat!

My entire family enjoyed this video. Steven, the camera loves you. Thanks for all of the smiles you bring to our living room. Will that big pumpkin be available at disneystore?
@Joe – Thank you for the kind words. I’ll always thought I had a face for radio. LOL. Good news, you can find select pumpkin items online including the pumpkin bucket. See: http://www.disneystore.com/disney-parks-product/halloween/mn/1001081+1000885/
It is nice to see so many new things coming out. You have certainly been busy, haven’t you, Steven? Thank you for all you do to keep us informed….you have no idea how much you are appreciated.
I noticed through your blog that Disney released quite a few Halloween decorations this year, more than normal. I am curious, normally we see Christmas items come out in July and I haven’t seen anything on your blog. Did Disney decide not to do ear hat ornaments this year? I am hoping that is not the case and the delay is to keep people from buying them all up and selling them on the internet before those of us who want to purchase them on our vacations can get them. I called Merchandising for the new Elsa and Anna shoe ornaments, but merchandising wont sell them to me. Is this all that has been released or is there more and they are only available in the parks?
@Barbara – Stay tuned! There are some AMAZING holiday things coming this year. The “Home For the Holidays” program is one of the best collections I’ve ever seen. It’s 1960s retro goodness for the holidays! 🙂
This is the first time we will be going with our kids at Halloween! Even going to MNSSHP. Yay! In addition to all the Halloween merchandise, do they have more costumes for kids this time of year? Debating whether or not to buy Halloween costumes for my boys before or when we get to WDW.
@Jamie – Disney Parks offers a limited assortment of costumes. Mostly you will find dresses featuring Disney Princesses that are created especially for Disney Parks (you won’t find them outside the parks and they are different than ones offered at Disney Stores).
As for boys, you may find some elements to dress as pirates. The Pirates League at Magic Kingdom is a fun experience if you haven’t done it before. I took my children there and they had a great time.
You may want to check out DisneyStore.com that offers a bigger assortment of boys costumes: http://www.disneystore.com/halloween-shop/mn/1000885/
I hope you have a great trip!
Loving these merchandise videos, mostly because we get to see you Steven! Haha loved the part where you wore the hat at the end of the video. Definitely made it.
I may not be able to see these products because I can’t make it out to Disneyland soon, so seeing them makes me wish that my next trip out was during Halloween time! One of these days, Halloween and my next trip will hopefully coincide!
@Jessica – Thank you for the kind words. I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I have a few more I’m working on for the Disney Parks Blog. 🙂
I can’t wait to see all of the new Halloween things! It’s my absolute favorite time of year at Disney World and the designs they put out are always so nice. Maybe by the time I make my Halloween trip the new Haunted Mansion shop will be open and I’ll have even more ghoulish decor to decorate with!
Do we have any word when the haunted mansion dooney will be out ?
@Samantha – I’m sorry. I don’t have any confirmed release dates at this time.
Steven, this video makes me very excited about Halloween. It also makes me want more Disney Parks Halloween decor for my own Haunted Mansion. I wish we were heading down to Walt Disney World for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This year our family will be celebrating the holidays at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, which we are all excited about.
Have a magical day!
Bob A. 🙂
@Bob – Thanks for the comment. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is just as fantastic! I’ve taken my son a few times before and he loved it. Nice to hear from you. 🙂
