How old was your “baby” when you first heard, “Mom, I’m not a kid anymore!” Chances are, if you have a teen or tween, this line is one you’ve heard a time or two. We know that your “little ones” may not be so little anymore, which is why we’re focused on making a Disney cruise a super cool experience for everyone in your family – even for those who may seem harder to impress these days!

Dolly from the Disney Parks Moms Panel has both a teen and tween, so she can certainly relate to parents of 11- to 17-year-olds. In the video I’m sharing today, host Danielle Bellini chats with Dolly and her kids about sailing with teens and tweens. Want a glimpse at what cruising with us will be like for your family’s Mr. or Miss Independent? Check it out!

What do your teens and tweens say about their last Disney cruise vacation?

  • When we started sailing with DCL my son was in Edge. He enjoyed the interaction with the youth counsellors and the other kids his age. He’s been a member of Vibe on our past 2 sailings and he loves it. He felt quite important when his normal Key To The World card was transformed to a Vibe card after he checked in. My teenager cannot stop talking about the exciting time he has on a Disney Cruise, both in the Youth Club and on the ship. (He even took the walking tour of the Fantasy without us when we sailed on its very 1st Very Merrytime Cruise!) I can’t say enough about how well Disney Cruise Line caters to teens.

  • We’ve never been on a Disney Cruise and I’m just thrilled to see some fun things happening for teens and tweens! I’ve got one of each myself and you’re convincing us that a Disney Cruise needs to be on the agenda for our next family vacation!
