It sure looks like a quiet night at the Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress at Magic Kingdom Park, which is the focus of this week’s “Disney Parks After Dark” image.

Seeing the attraction illuminated at night really brings out the vibrant colors of Tomorrowland.

  • I wish this was still at Disneyland – I really miss it. It is indeed a reflection of Walt.

  • James’ wife here – It might not be the speediest or have wild twists and turns, but after a long day of thrills, we love sitting back and enjoying this ride.
It represents Walt so well and his vision, reflecting and remembering the past and looking towards the future.
Some may deem it old-fashioned but that is part of the allure of this ride. I hope WDW doesn’t get rid of this ride, it is Disney and Americana personified as far as my family and I are concerned and we are die-hard Disney fans!

  • Our family loves “After Dark” for my hubby is a heart patient. Night gives us cooler temps, smaller crowds, and we believe even more magic due to the beauty of the lights! I love this pic. I feel close to Walt when I experience this attraction!

  • The Carousel of Progress is still one of our family’s favourite attractions at WDW, and one which we always do at least once every visit.
“There’s a great big beautiful tomorrow, shining at the end of every day!”
