For those of you who haven’t had the chance to sail to our private island yet, let me sum it up for you in one word: paradise. Since it’s our most popular destination, we get tons of questions about it as guests anticipate their first visit. We checked in with Dolly from the Disney Parks Moms Panel during her recent family vacation to get answers to your questions about planning for a day here. Find out what she had to say…

What tips do you have for first-timers visiting Castaway Cay?

  • Hello Jonathan,

Thank you for this wonderful and very informative post. Disney’s Castaway Cay is our absolute favourite port. We always rent a private Cabana on the Family Beach which helps us out with our special needs son. It allows him the respite needed when necessary and gives our whole family the opportunity to enjoy our strip of beach in privacy and solace. The amenities that come with the Cabana are incredible, certainly making our stay pure paradise.

Imagine there being an overnight stay at Disney’s Castaway Cay and eventually even a resort on the island. I’ll keep believing that someday those dreams will come true.

Keep up the delightful posts, I enjoy them greatly,

    All the best,
    Jackie
