This week, some of the most compelling images we shared on the Disney Parks Blog were of some iconic buildings guests have enjoyed at our parks for years, specifically the train station and entrance to Disneyland park and Spaceship Earth at Epcot.

George Savvas shared these amazing construction images of the Main Entrance turnstiles and Main Street Station earlier this week.
Nate Rasmussen also gave a look at the early construction of Epcot’s theme park icon – Spaceship Earth.
Which other attractions or areas of our parks are you interested in seeing early construction photos of? Tell us in the comments section below.

Jennifer, thanks for posting these, it’s always fun to see old photographs of WDW being built. Do you have access to any old photographs of the Polynesian Village being built, or perhapse the Space Mountain area?
I love seeing the old photos of the parks being built. I would love to see Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion being built..
Hello there! I am so intrigued by these pictures! What a fabulous recollection of Disneyland’s history!
Personally, I would love to see some images of the construction of the Fantasyland dark rides… Snow White, Peter Pan, etc. I’ve always been fascinated with the rides themselves, so I would love to see a unique behind-the-scenes aspect. Thank you so much!!
Someone has to say it: The Hat at DHS! 🙂 (Ducking for cover!)
OK, maybe the Tree of Life at DAK.
Any pics of the original construction of MK in FL where you may actually be able to recognize the Utilidoors under the main level of the park would be amazing as well.
