Hundreds of Disney Parks Blog readers braved the rain last night to attend the Disney Parks Blog Christmas in Cars Land Meet-Up at Disney California Adventure park. We started the evening with reserved viewing for “World of Color – Winter Dreams,” then we cruised over to Cars Land for our private, after-hours event.
We were even joined by Radiator Springs’ own resident superstar, Lightning McQueen!
Of course, no holiday meet-up would be complete without plenty of sugary snacks. Guests enjoyed a bounty of goodies from the selection of limited-time holiday treats now available at the Disneyland Resort.
Meet-up guests enjoyed all of the Cars Land attractions – Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree, Radiator Springs Racers and Luigi’s Flying Tires – many of us more than once. (Am I right?)
To paraphrase Lightning McQueen, we’re all winners when we make new friends – and every Disney Parks Blog meet-up is an opportunity for just that. Here I am with one of my newest friends!

We had a GREAT time last night-even in the rain!! It was awesome to just walk right on Radiator Springs! The desserts were terrific and so was World of Color. Thanks for a terrific night. I hope to be able to get tickets the next time.
We enjoyed ourselves very much. Thank you for having us! The praline mini cheesecake was a highlight, and we won the Piston Cup on Radiator Springs!

Thank you everyone for such a nice event.It was a very nice early birthday present for me. And I brought a friend who doesn’t have a pass and don’t get to come very often to the parks and I was enjoying watching her joy thru her eyes seeing Carland all decorated up for the holidays!! Thank you to all the CMs who were working after hours for us to have such a fun time!!

Thank you Disney Parks Blog for such a fun filled evening. Even the rain couldn’t damper my spirits! Such a treat to see World of Color with obscured viewing and walk on Radiator Spring Racers! You were so generous with all the yummy holiday treats and I will treasure my ornaments as they hold special memories of this magical evening!
You have to LOVE Disneyland this time of year, especially Cars Land with all the Christmas decorations. Looks like a great time even with some rain.
